Honestly, it only took Leigh-Anne and Harry about four hours into their first day of freshman year to not only realize
"hey, you're in most of my classes" but also,
"hey, you're a change in the typical grain and I kinda like that, a lot."

They grew extremely close in the first 365 days. They had a small group of friends. The "group" only contained Leigh-Anne's best friend, Perrie- who had been friends with Leigh since they were little and Harry's friend from History, Niall. Niall was from another part of London, but went to Easton Hall because of the better education it offered. Harry and Niall bonded after some history project and Harry introduced him to the lot. But that was the group for freshman year, the four of them. Everyone else in the school was either a stranger, an acquaintance, or an enemy- but those are details for a little later.

Right now its only important to know that the quirky and adorable things Leigh-Anne and Harry admired about one another, others either didn't admire or didn't notice.

Leigh-Anne had learned she loved how patient Harry was and how when he studied his tongue would pop out, just to lick his lips a bit or the way his dimples were on display as he explained something to her.

Harry realized he was infatuated with how passionate Leigh was, and if she was nervous she would pull on the pony-tail holder on her right wrist without realizing it and even bite her lip when she was deep in thought.

Since the beginning of time Leigh-Anne had excelled in art and creative curriculums. She was a force in English and Theatre class. She didn't mind History and other less-imaginative units, but they were never her favorite, although she still breezed through them as if they were.

On the other hand, Harry was a genius with numbers, equations and problem solving. His strongest classes were Math and Science. He enjoyed the exact and immaculate way two plus two would always equal four, and the way you would always add acid to water, and never the other way around. Harry was a strong student in general, so he never had teetering grades but there was just something about pure logic that he enjoyed.

Throughout this year they realized they balanced each other, in more ways than one. They favored opposing subjects in school but although Leigh-Anne's fresh-meat appearance wouldn't show it, she was a very focused individual that could be a hot-head at times. She was dangerously persuasive when it came to getting others to do her bidding. She liked when things went her way, and if she could mold fate with a little flirting, she would.
Behind his glasses and curls, Harry was always very calm and laid-back. He was calculated and sharp, multiple steps ahead but he still had a light and care-free aura about himself that concealed how strategic his encouragement was and how deceptive his motives could be.

Leigh-Anne was the type to get you to stand in a pit of fire, because you'd be willing to do that for her, right?

Harry was the type to get you to stand in a pit of fire, because that would be what you had always wanted to do, and not because it would benefit him in any way, right?

The funny thing about these two, was that neither of them knew the power they possessed, especially when they worked together. They were to be apart of something much greater than what their freshman selves knew.

In nearly three years time, everyone would know their names because by then, they would have the school wrapped around their fingers. But no one would know the extent of the power they possessed, except for the two.

Which was exactly how they liked it.

Omg wow this chapter was so long and is like so important!!

And since I got a special request for more baby Leigharry I decided to drag out and go more in-depth with how they really got started, so I hope you liked it! Next chap their actual relationship will develop but I wanted this chapter to be more about subtle things they noticed in their friendship that are important to the plot later on. This whole story is gonna be a hot messes but bad ass at the same time lol
