4 weeks had passed and it was Halloween break. I was at home writing stuff down in a neat little journal I had. I was writing down what had happened to me and the others at Ingrid Middle School, along with the EVP messages. As I finished the last paragraph, my cell phone rang. I picked it up off of my desk, leaned back in my chair to hear Julie's cheerful voice.
"Hiya, Liu!"
"Hey, Julie. What's up?"
"I just spoke to Lance and Jack. There actually on the phone right now. I'm going to start a four way call. Give me a moment!"
"Alright."
"Ok, we're good."
"Hi, Liu."
"Heya, Lance."
"Hey, Liu."
"Hello, Jack."
"So, what's new, gang?"
"Well, I've found us a new house and....this one might be the most intense we've ever done before."
"Alright, give us the low down."
"Ok, I'm going to read the information off of my computer."
"Go ahead, Jules, we're listening."
"The Freakies House. An old abandoned house that was home to a freaky family. The home was once home to a family of 6. The father was a man named Eric. He had a good job and was a healthy man. The mother was a woman named Jackie. Jackie stayed at home helping the children and was a healthy woman. The family consisted of 4 children. The first of the four children was the oldest daughter, Roxie. Roxie was 17 and commonly known for her rebellious behavior. The second oldest was the son Jaxson. Jaxson was 15 and was commonly known for his ambitious attitude. The third child was a daughter named Rhonda. Rhonda was 13 and known for her dramatic attitude and her 'I don't care what you have to say about me' attitude. And finally the youngest was Adrian. He was 12 and was a very intelligent young boy. He had never gone through peer pressure because he liked himself and only made choices that HE had approved, not caring if others disapproved. The family was at first normal with normal habits. Roxie, aside from her rebellious attitude and emo style, played guitar and was good at it. Jaxson was busy with plenty of afterschool activities, being ambitious and all. Rhonda was the president of both the Student Council AND the National Junior Society. Adrian was a talented artist, but he was also studying to be a better student. Jackie was at first a nurse, back in her old days, but after she gave birth to Roxie, she quit to take care of her children. The children all slept in separate rooms, so there was very little bickering between the children. Roxie was just the hardest child to deal with because, like said before, she was rebellious and often snapped on her family. Jackie told Roxie that she needed to find a part time job somewhere. Roxie decided to work part time at a nearby bakery. She felt stupid, but that's where she met a boy named Isaac. Roxie remembered the feeling she had when Isaac's eyes crossed hers. Roxie felt a bit ashamed because of the way she looked: skin white as snow, hair black as a raven, eyes a bright beautiful violet, and the makeup she wore. Black and purple eye shadow, black lipstick. Roxie wanted to get to know Isaac and she finally did. They had finally fallen love. But, her parents were angered with Roxie's love. So, Roxie said she was going to Isaac's house. Her parents told her that she had to drug him. She refused several times and left to go see Isaac. Her parents secretly followed her. When she arrived, she hugged Isaac tighter than she had ever hugged someone before. Her parents drugged both Isaac and Roxie. When she woke up, she was being held back by Rhonda and Jaxson. She began to struggle, but Rhonda and Jaxson would not let go of her. She saw Isaac being held by his arms tightly, by her father. Roxie began screaming, begging them to have mercy on Isaac and to just kill her. They smiled and refused. Roxie's mother killed Isaac right in front of Roxie's eyes. She began sobbing and yelled that she would never forgive them. But, they weren't done. Roxie was knocked out again and woke up in chains. She saw a mirror to her right and gasped. Painted on her face was a red frown on the side of her lips and black circles around her eyes. She saw small black dots decorating the bottom of her eyes. She realized that she looked like a sad clown. She just began crying. The moment she did, something smacked her across the face. She looked up and began to breathe heavily. She saw her family, with smiling clown faces painted on them. They began laughing in a teasing manner at Roxie. The voices began overlapping in her head as she began to feel dizzy. The room warped and shape shifted as Roxie's eyes began to grow dark. Roxie had to watch her family kill innocent people in front of her very eyes. One day, Roxie had escaped her bonds and tried to make a run for the stairs, but she ran into clown nurses. She began attempting to escape, when her family and the nurses came running down the hallway. Roxie began banging on the door, screaming for any one, just someone for help. Roxie was caught and dragged down to the huge cellar. Her family had became a bunch of clowns! Freaks! Roxie was chained down again, this time her feet had been chained together as well. She heard a woman speak.
"Good afternoon, Freakies! Make sure to smile!" Followed by a freaky, woman's clown laugh.
"Freakies!? My family is the Freakies!?" Roxie yelled.
"Smile! Smile! Freakies, smile to have a good day! Abandon all negativity! Smile! Smile!" came the voices of her deranged family members. Roxie began sobbing, the clown makeup not washing off. Roxie soon realized that she was practically dead meat. Roxie has never been rescued and is still alive. Rumor has it that she is still down there and still in the same condition."
"Wow, that was long and freaky!" I said.
"I know. We'd better check this out." Julie said.
"Julie, were there any kind of warnings?"
"Yes. It said on the computer, Warning! The clown nurses love to kill and hurt people. That was what they were trained to do. The children are the ones who want to hurt you the most and are probably the most active at night. In the daytime, the adults and older kids are most active. Except for Roxie. If you find her, try to save her. If you fail, you will get caught. Warning #2, if you are caught you are either instantly killed or you will be tortured. If you manage to escape, you will be cursed."
"Bah, curses aren't real!" Jack said.
"This might be real, Jack. The wife has your name, after all."
"Her name was Jackie, not Jack."
"I know, Jack. But if you think, Jack-E, then you'll see what I mean."
"Whatever, Jules."
"Getting to more serious matters, you've got to feel bad for Roxie."
"I know, Lance. I know I feel terrible."
"So, we'd better investigate that place. How about tomorrow at 12?"
"Noon, again?"
"Yeah."
"Alright, not bad."
"I'm surprised you agree, Jack."
"Huh, so I suggest we all bring flashlights. Lance, definitely the camera. One of us should bring a phone in case we have to call the police. I say that's on Liu. And Julie, you should bring a notebook so we can get all get all of this down!"
"And what are you bringing, Jack?"
"A flashlight. I don't think there are any spirits in the Freakies House. Just real humans with a desire for human flesh."
"Wow, nice way to put it, jackass."
"Hey!"
"Wow, Liu. You snapped on him."
"I'm just sayin'....."
"Well, let's get ready! We don't have a lot of time, ya know!"
"Cool, bye guys."
"Bye."
"Adios."
"Later." We stopped the call and we began to get ready to head to the Freakies House. What could go wrong?
My friends and I stood at the bottom step of the Freakies house. It looked like a huge, rusted, old mansion. We didn't like the look of it. Julie took a deep breath and pushed the doors of the rusted house and stepped inside. The door slammed behind us as we looked around. We turned on our flashlights and pointed it in all directions. We saw creepy, smiling, realistic looking clown paintings all over the walls. A lot of them had gingivitis ridden teeth, creepy clown faces, and rusty old clown outfits. We began walking forward, hearing insane laughter coming from what seemed like everywhere.
"Guys....I think we should stay together. The house looks too dangerous for us to split up in."
"Julie's right. We'd better stick together."
"Liu.....something isn't sitting right with my gut...."
"That's what he said."
"Cool it, Lance. Besides, Jack has a point. Something is definitely wrong."
"Look! A door!" Jack said, pointing at a cellar door. I pointed my flashlight at it and I read it aloud.
"Naughty and Sad Clowns?"
"Yikes, doesn't sound too good....."
"We'd better investigate."
I really wish we didn't.....
