(Lily) "They're close." I heard a voice echo around the room. It was dark, but I saw a flash of red in the shape of a triangle. "He's coming to get us." I heard it say again, this time I recognized the triangle. Bill. And behind him was his army of nightmares. "He'll be attacking soon." It said, I saw a flash of a kid, flames in his hands. I couldn't make out who it was. "He won't stop until he does." The voice screeched, I burned into flames. I woke up with a frightening start, panting as blood and sweat dripped down from my face. I looked down from where I lied my head, there was a small puddle of blood on Crystal's paw. I looked beside me at Mabel. She had woken up. "Whoa, are you okay!?" She asked, kind of panicked. "Y-yea..." I said uneasily. "No, your not, there's blood coming out of your eye and mouth." She said. "w-what..." I said, wiping some away from my eye, It was a dark blood red color. "Yea... are you sure your okay?" She asked me, worried. "Is everyone else okay!?" I asked and jumped up frightened. "Yea, their fine... nothings happened... yet..." Mabel said. I sat back down and leaned against Crystal. "I guess I was just dreaming..." I said and reached for my backpack. "Yea... you have sure been having a lot of those weird dreams lately..." Mabel said, lying back down. I opened my backpack and retrieved Dipper's hat, rubbing it slightly with my hand before setting it down in my lap. I traced the pine tree shape with the tip of my finger very slightly, then the rim of the hat. I sighed and held it up to my chest as tears started to fall out of my eyes. It had been 4 months since the last attack, were almost have reached Florida, due to Crystal helping us though the country and finding all the shortcuts. I felt her wing wrap around me, startling me a bit before looking into his eyes. He could tell that I was upset and uneasy. I looked back down at the hat, thinking about how the dream had reminded me of Dipper. But why would it remind me of him? I thought and stared at the hat once more before kissing it slightly on the rim and placing it back in my backpack and carefully zipping it up. I put my head back down on Crystal's leg, trying to relax. I sat there for a few moments, thinking about these last few months out on the road. We were now in Tennessee, so close to reaching Florida, but I still had this uneasy feeling that it wasn't going to be okay. I sat up and looked around. It wasn't dawn yet, but the wind started to get stronger, Crystal using her wing to cover me up so I wouldn't get cold. "Thanks Crys," I said and nudged farther into her wing, hoping that the warmth would make me fall asleep. After 20 min, I couldn't fall asleep, so I snuggled in under his neck, in which is where I immediately fell asleep, due to how soft it was.
