The sun was beating down on the dusty pavement of the playground. No one was bothered by the heat. It was normal for Konoha to get temperatures up almost 105 degrees. But for one little ninja in training, this weather was tortuous.

Lele - most popularly known by her former stage name Ukulele- sat underneath the shade of a young banyan tree. The hooligans in her academy class were running around the playground-similar to the ways of the monkey- throwing paper shuriken stars at each other. She watched them with lackadaisical eyes, wondering if they've develop some kind of heat resistant skin jutsu in their academy years prior to her arrival.

Lele had been enrolled in this class for exactly two weeks and sixteen minutes. On her first day of class, she was quickly brought to the fact that these- for lack of a better word  ... simpletons- were raised in the uncultivated manners of the day to day Konoha civilian instead of the sophisticated manner of a circus performer.

The first thing she noticed was that class was occupied by these... unsightly simpletons. They slouched, were clumsy and were just plain disgusting. She had gotten around to renaming about a quarter of the students in her class- for the sake of remembering them all.

There was the Human Nest, That One Girl Back There, The Psychopath, The Beast, The Other Louder Girl, but most memorable of all were Big Mouth and Ugly Girl.

Big Mouth was everything she disliked in a person: loud and very conspicuous. He often slacked off in class and would pick fights with The Psychopath. He was even doing it now!

With a note pad in hand, she scribbled the events unfolding before her.

Day 10 in the simpleton's world.

-Big Mouth and The Psychopath face off with paper shurikens.
-Big Mouth is quickly humbled with his immediate defeat.
-The Other Louder Girl voices her opinion on The Psychopath victory.

More research is needed to understand the importance of paper fights as opposed to fist fights.

Closing her note pad, Lele stands and stretches her limbs. She fans her fingers out above her eyes to shield her retinas from the scorching sun as she boldly walks through a crowd of older kids to her classroom door.

A few of the kids in the higher level try to intimidate her to no avail. As Lele sees it, if these kids are still playing on the playground, they're nothing but mere children like herself. And she will be damned before she lets a child pass judgment on her.
