Chapter 6: Crystals

"Well then that's unexpected," said Lucas.

"Let's go absorb some metal and see what you can do!" I said excitedly.

"Oh! Wait!" The doctor shouted. "I almost forgot, you can make weapons with what ever you absorb!"

"Got it!" Marissa shouted as we ran off.

After we made it to a vehicle, Lucas absorbed the metal and made a sword out of his hand.

"Wow!" I exclaimed. "That's awesome!"

"Ya." Marissa agreed boredom. "That's pretty cool."

"Oh~ is poor whittle Marissa jealous?" I asked.

"No!" I shouted. "I just think its cool, that's all."

We sat there in silence as I looked at Marissa with a raised eyebrow.

"Fine, alright I'm jealous!" Marissa admitted. "First he's super speed then he gets to absorb stuff and make weapons out of it."

"Oh!" I exclaimed. "I need to try something follow me."

We went to my house, which was a bus with a bunch of modifications. I pulled out what looked like a crystal and gave it to Lucas and he absorbed it.

"What was that?" He asked.

"I don't know." I answered. "It came out of a bunch of meteorites. I have a whole bunch. I was going to make some armor and weapons but nothing that I have can even dent it."

The doctor suddenly burst into the bus. We all looked at her confused.

"I have to tell you guys something important!" She shouted.
