A Puzzle to be Fixed (Hayes grier)

Rose's P.O.V *

I awoke to knocking on my door, damn they don't go away. I got up and went downstairs to open it Hayes stood there i let him in and laid down on the couch. "It's to freaking early." I groaned. "Whatever, hurry up and get dressed don't ask anything." He demanded. I did as he said not wanting to fight with him this early. I put my hair into a high pony tail. I then put on black leggings and a blue Nike shirt I paired it with my blue Nike's.

I went downstairs and got into Hayes charger. Hey nice car, wait he can't be driving I thought to myself. I turned to Hayes as he took off god knows where we're going. "Your not supposed to be driving." I told him "you think i ever listen." He told me not taking his eyes off the road. "then why did you get into my car yesterday?" I asked he just shrugged.

"Where are we going?" I asked looking out the window the sun hadn't even rised yet what the hell why so early?? "I thought we could work on the project. So we're going where I work on my music and then to my house for some lunch or whatever." He said not looking at me. I just nodded, and took a small nap. "Wake up." Hayes shook me I got out of the car and saw where we were, Hayes was already climbing up the hill towards the Hollywood sign. Why are we here!?? I ran to catch up with Hayes and we finally reached the top.

I was out of breath Hayes handed me a water bottle from his backpack. I chugged half of it down "thanks, if you would've told me where we were going I would've brought my own." I told him going back to breathing regular. he just stood there and took a sip of his water that's it just a small sip and he wasn't even breathing crazy like I was. What is this boy bionic or something?

I sat next to him on the grass and looked around it was beautiful the sun barely rising and the big Hollywood sign in back of us. "I come here every time I have the chance, this is where I work on my music." He said looking around. "It's beautiful." I sighed in awe. He nodded agreeing with me. We worked on the music for the project we decided on You know you like It with another song that he choose. It sounded amazing, sadly it was time to leave this beautiful view.

We jumped back in his car I think we were going to his place. I was right we pulled up and I walked out of the car, he told me to come one and I did as he said. He left to go take a quick shower, I just awkwardly stood there. I saw a couple pictures hanging on the wall. It was Hayes with.... a girl?.. he looked so happy and the girl was so pretty. I wonder why he never talks about her I walked down to a little table where there were more pictures in frames. There was a specific one in the middle of the table.

It was Hayes and that girl I'm guessing it was someone's birthday because she was laughing at Hayes who had cake on his nose while he looked down at her smiling and a small cake in front of them. I smiled at that then there was a small little book in front of it I was about to open it. "Don't touch that!" I hear Hayes scream. I jumped a little and looked back at Hayes he looked furious. This isn't good I don't really like it when he's mad like this.

"I should leave." I walked out as fast as i could I called a cab since I didn't have my car. When i got home Marie was just pulling up in my driveway. We got out and I ordered pizza, "what's up with you?? You seem so quiet." She asked. "Hayes.." was all I said. "What happened??" She asked "Ok so he took me to where he works on his music which happens to be in front of the Hollywood sign like literally. Ok well anyways we worked on our project like the music and then he took me to his place and there was pictures of him and this girl and he looked so happy. Well there was this little book and I was about to open it when he screamed at me not to open it i got scared you know how he gets so I walked out as fast as i could and called a cab here." I explained to her her mouth opened from everything I just told her.

"I think he likes you, like think about it he has never taken any of the other girls to his house or even his 'special' place." Haha this is a joke right?? " I think your wrong." I sighed "seriously Rose all the other girls he's gotten paired up with he just takes them to the library. Think about it ok I have to go bye girl." And with that she left me thinking about everything. could she be right??

I didn't even realize i had fallen asleep with all those thoughts in my head. I woke up and felt sooo lazy but i had to go to class. Uggh today we have to work on the choreography for the project. I don't even want to.see his face, I somehow made myself get out of bed.

I took a quick shower and put on the 'usual' for dance. I didn't bother to eat I just wasn't hungry. I made my way to the campus all these thoughts in my head from yesterday. I parked and made my way in to the performing building. Everyone had already gotten with their partners I looked around and wasn't surprised when I didn't see Hayes. I sighed and sat down on the floor trying to remember how the music went.

"Rose" I heard someone say I looked up and got up as i saw mrs. Belden. "Rose.. Hayes came by earlier and dropped this off he said he wouldn't be coming today I'm sorry." She said handing me a disc. I gave her a thankful smile and turned around I looked at the disc and it read project in sharpie. I guess he was nice enough to put it in the disc, ohh well. I got my bag and walked out I wasn't feeling it today I didn't feel like being in a room with everyone working with their partners and me just by myself.

I went to go look for a room that wasn't being occupied I finally found one and settled in. I stretched and inserted the disc into my computer. I listened to it first before starting to make any move. I played it a few times then started dancing. It wasn't that hard making it up it was just a lot of details the teacher wanted.

I just put the first part together not able to make all of it up today. I checked the time and headed home, it seemed so quiet I miss Hayes and I fighting over something stupid like the radio station or how we judge each other on how crazy we drive. Or just Hayes making it so hard to communicate but still it was something.

I decided to go to Marie's and just chill I think that's what I needed. On my way their I stopped at Starbucks I decided to get down instead of going through the drive thru. I ordered on for me and decided on drinking it here and then taking one for Marie on my way out. I sat as i sipped my Caramel ribbon crunch Frappuccino I sat a little table near the window. I was on my phone texting away with my bro until I heard a familiar voice.

I looked up and saw Jordan gosh I think this girl hates my guts. She was with her little 'crew' or whatever she calls it. Then I remembered what Marie said all the girls he has been paired up with he just takes them to the library. I lingered on the thought a bit before standing up and walking towards Jordan and her little crew. They looked up and saw me their smiles dropped when they saw it was me. "Don't worry I'm just here to ask a question to all of you." I said they nodded as for me to go on.

"All of you have been paired up with Hayes right? Before I came to this campus." I asked them they all nodded "where are you going with this??" Jordan asked "wait." I said not looking at her. "When you girls got paired with Hayes where did you guys work on your project or whatever??" I asked "The library." They all said in sync, i had gotten my answer and walked away nodding slowly. I quickly ordered Marie's Frappuccino and left.

I knocked two times on Marie's door before she could answer. "Starbucks! Your the best" She said sipping her starbucks. We sat and I started right away "I asked Jordan and her crew where Hayes had taken them when they got paired up and they all said the library." I said a little too fast. "I told you, he doesn't just take any girl to his place hell we don't even know where he lives." She said but i didn't understand everything.

We talked a bit and before I knew it i had to go.
