A.N.: Now, I would like to experiment with this story and make the chapters much longer. Not like too many pages though, because there is such a thing as too much plot. But I hope you guys can bear with me for slower updates in exchange for longer chapters.

*No one's POV*

Ian nearly punched himself when he got home. He'd forgotten to say a line of Shakespeare while out with Anthony for hours. This wasn't an immense issue for him, but it was certainly annoying due to the fact that on the way home Anthony had texted him a line of Shakespeare, making Ian realize he'd been beaten to the punch.

From: Anthony ^_^
Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date.

Ian thought hard as he fiddled with the strands of his hair, an unhappy-with-losing frown making its way onto his face. It wasn't even that he was mad at Anthony for taking the opportunity to be the first to give their usual line of Shakespeare, he was mad at himself for being so entranced by Anthony that he forgot completely to do it himself. He blew a strand of hair out of his eyes, thinking how his hair definitely needed a trim soon, lest he end up looking like a sheepdog.

He gave up on being mad at himself for something so stupid, deciding to go put his wallet and phone back in his room and change into a much more comfy set of clothes. Daisy was asleep on his bed when he went in, small snores leaving her as she slept. He awed silently at her cuteness, not wanting to disturb the clearly comfortable German Shepherd. He glanced in the small mirror on his desk, doing a double-take at his appearance.

He looked like crap. His beard needed a trim, his hair was all fluffy and unkempt, he had bags under his eyes from being up early. He was definitely looking a mess, and Anthony hadn't told him how tired and awful he looked. That bastard

He quickly stripped down to his boxers and set his wallet and phone down on his nightstand, sifting through his drawers to find his Legend of Zelda sweatshirt and a pair of gray sweatpants to complete the comfy look. His jeans and shirt were tossed into the hamper in the corner of the bedroom, and he slipped into his new outfit with a contented sigh now that he wasn't in the confines of skinny jeans. Ian flopped back-first onto his bed- only making Daisy shift around a bit- and let out a sigh as he shut his eyes and let his feet dangle off the end of the comfy mattress.

He couldn't fight back the smile on his face as he lifted his fingers, bringing them to brush over his lips. He'd kissed Anthony (on the cheek), but that was still a massive milestone for him. He liked Anthony in the sense that he'd caught his attention in a bewilderingly big way. That in itself was slightly terrifying to Ian. He wasn't used to anyone other than people he'd known for years actually willingly inviting him somewhere and expressing an interest in him and the things he likes. Of course he'd been on dates, but not many of them actually worked out in the end due to the simple fact that they didn't click quite right.

Ian had only had two girlfriends that he actually considered girlfriends, and only a few brief flings with some guys when he was trying to figure out who he was. He preferred not to put a label on himself though these days, he wasn't a box- he had more than four sides and he didn't want to be confined into one label or thought based on a single descriptive word. So he answered people's questions if they asked "do you like girls?" He would say yes. If they asked "do you like guys?" He would also say yes.

Ian Hecox was a complex person who had many different parts to him and he was a much deeper person than he seemed to be at first glance. When he was a kid, he wasn't the most masculine little boy. Growing up with his older sister forced her to have him play Barbies with her for hours, and he accidentally let slip to one of his other seven-year-old friends, which led to the whole grade laughing at Ian and calling him "Princess" for a few weeks until they got bored of it. But they never quite accepted him again, so he was left to be silent in the corner of the room all on his own.
