Tring! Tring ! Tring ! went my alarm when it struck 5 in the clock . With great affinity towards my bed I found it a great challenge to get up in the chilled morning . But I had to get up . I got up and splashed water on my face to get rid of my " most loved sleep" . I trottled down to my kitchen to get some light coffee ready for myself . I left my house after doing a bit of my household chores . Anyway, I'm Jane Martin. A formal introduction to myself - I'm 18 years old and study in the cordon University , Cape Town . My parents had a divorce as they had many problems between them and my mom claimed that my dad had an extra marital affair with his P.A. Mom lives in Austria and dad in New York . Dad left me saying ,"Jane I really can't make it up with your mom anymore . Marriage is all about trust but she does not trust me . I can't live with her anymore. Patience has its limits . I believe that you would find yourself success in this world . Love you loads darling ". The words still bring tears to my eyes . I was emotionally attached to my parents . Being their only child I was their center of attraction . My mom left me saying," Jane , your dad has an affair with his P.A. , Margaret . I am off to Austria. Love you loads and loads ". My mom and dad whom I loved so much had left me for their personal egos . They would have sat down as sorted out things but you know , ego is such a strong power that can ruin your life to such an extent that you are left helpless at the end . Anyway , I'm off to Cordon University. I reached my form where Mrs Pauline had already started off with her economics class . We were learning growth and depreciation . It was a total mess in my mind . I never got along very well with economics but had to take it up as a subject in the cordon University . I was on the urge to doze off but was woken up by Mrs Pauline's shrill voice," Ms Martin . Do you think you are princess or something to doze off in my lecture . No one ever has dared to commit this unforgivable mistake ever this term . Get lost right away from my class ". I got up hesitantly and with great courage faced the giggles and the taunts made by my classmates as I moved out of the class .
