I'm a..... Monster?

Kendal's POV
Yes! Lunch! I'm starving! Then again, isn't everyone always hungry? I normally eat outside, so I started to head to my usual table. I was just sitting down when I heard a scream. A very familiar scream. Almost like......
Caleb's scream.
"KENDAL! SOMEONE! HELP!" Any other words had been muffled out. Without thinking, I knew where he was and who was behind it all.
The purple man.
In the alley.
I dropped my lunch (a bird was anxiously waiting for that lunch to be their's) and sprinted for the alley. I started looking around. Not long after I started looking, I found Caleb's unconscious body. I bent down to check for a pulse. Suddenly, I felt a punch fly across my face. I tried to stand up, but I found myself falling back down again. I looked up to see a surprised purple man looking out in the distance. What was he looking at? "Who are you?!" He questioned. There seemed to be a girl walking towards him. I started losing consciousness. The last thing I saw before I blacked out was a girl punching the purple guy square in the nose and sweeping his leg. "The name's Sydney."

Where am I? I look around and I see nothing but trees. I start walking in a direction I am uncertain of. As I looked around, I noticed that the trees had something carved into them. I could almost make out...... Wings?
Strange. All of the trees also looks the same. Same branches in the same places, same leaves, same height. Up ahead I was able to faintly see a river.......and a building? I walked up to the building and tried the door.
Locked.
I started to follow the river. It seemed to go on forever. I started getting really thirsty. I guess I could drink from the river. What could go wrong? I cupped my hands and drank some of the water. After that I decided to sit down. It seemed to be getting darker. I slowly began to close my eyes, when suddenly it was bright out again. Huh. I felt funny. Like I had.....changed. I looked down at myself, and what I saw was horrifying.

Then I woke up.
