This is me, Amber Aniston

Introduction/Chapter 1

Hello, Amber here! What's up? I'm 14 years old and I have blue eyes with I guess to some people I'm important. I haven't really done anything important, except from being in a few movies but the main reason is because my dad is Brad Pitt and my mom is Jennifer Aniston. My dad is not really on the radar at the moment and hasn't been for years but my mom! She's been there for me all of my life and I know she always will. My dad cheated on her, when he did that movie called Mr and Mrs Smith. I realized that my mom doesn't need him and she has Justin and so do I. I may not call him dad but I love him like a father.

I remember being 3 or 4 when my parents split. I guess I was upset first and went to my dad's house often but I hated leaving my mom because she would be in the house on her own and my dad had Angelina and all of their kids. When I was 10 years old, I found out that my dad had an affair on my mom with Angelina, which changed our father daughter bond and I don't like going but I have to a couple of times a month. I don't feel as bad leaving mom now because she has Justin, who makes her so happy and they're engaged!

My best friend is Ruby, she's my age and I have basically known since I could crawl. My mom knows her mom and her mom knows my mom. She always make me laugh and I can almost tell her anything.

Anyway, I'm Amber and this is my story!

"Mom!" I scream from my room but get no reply.

"Mommy!" I scream louder hoping she will here me.

"Jennifer Aniston!!" I then scream and she runs into my room.
"What is it, Amber?" She asked looking at me with a smile.
"Which top shall I wear?" I asked holding up two tops at each side of my shoulder. One had Micky mouse on and the other had an emoji of a girl with her arms crossed as an 'X' saying 'No photos' which I needed as my mom and Justin loved taking photos!
"Let me get this right. You scream at the top of your lungs and call your mom by her name so I can help you pick which top to wear?" She asked smiling and her eyes glowed. Those big blue eyes were just breathtaking, I had blue eyes but not as good as my mom'a eyes.
"You know you love me!" I said cheekily.
"You're such a goofball!" She said kissing my cheek, before putting to the Mickey Mouse t shirt saying "I would have to go with this one but aren't those shorts a bit small?"
I shook my head. "No. They are perfect now I'm going to meet Ruby and were going to the mall. Do you want anything?"
"You don't need to get me anything."
"Yeah, I do. Think of all you've gotten me and done for me on your own for years. We all know dad's an asshole."
"Don't call me that, Amber. You may not like him and I can understand why but he is still your father."
"Do I have to go to his house tomorrow?" I didn't like going to my dad's house. I wasn't very keen on Angelina and my half siblings.
"Yes, you do." Mom answered sternly. I knew there was no way of me getting out of this one, unless something big happened like I get hit by a car! Sorry! I'm a bit morbid. Ignore me!

Suddenly, my phone made a whistle noise to say I had a message. I looked to see it was from Ruby.

Ruby - I'm on my way now! 😝😘
I began to type a message back.
Amber - Me too. I need to surprise mom with a present! 😜🎁💝
"Be careful, sweetheart and call me if you need anything." I nodded and ran downstairs bumping into Justin. "Bye, Justin!"
"Bye, Amber!" He said, we smiled at each other, before I shut the door. It was a sunny day today in LA. The sun was blaring in my face, so I got my sunglasses out of my purse and put them on. I walk until I see Ruby, we run to each other and hug in a friendly way. She had always been my best friend and always would be.

I remember a time about a week after my parents split up. I went to her house, I was still really upset but she made me laugh and made me happy. We were both only 3 years old.

*Flashback*

"Come on Amb! You need to smile!" Ruby shouted jumping up and down on the bed doing her best to make her best friend laugh. Her parents had just split and it was a shock for the 3 year old, who thought, her parents would be together forever.

"I'm not happy, Ruby!" Amber snapped.

Ruby frowned but wasn't going to give up. She grabbed her toy microphone and began to sing you've got a friend in me from Toy Story. It was the girls favorite Disney song but next had to be under the sea from Little Mermaid. They would sing to it through their microphones and giggle uncontrollably.

Amber began to smile at her best friend and for the first time she forgot about the fact her parents weren't together and she jumped off the bed and reached her toy microphone and sung with her. They both laughed but what they didn't know is that Amber's mom was watching grinning because her daughter was happy.

*End of flashback*

I was taken from my thoughts by the sound of cameras. I turned to see a few paparazzis there taking photos of us. We quickly ran until we finally reached the mall. We went in every clothes store but we were stopped in our tracks when we saw no other than, Brad Pitt with Angelina and my half-siblings. I quickly pushed Ruby into the store, which just so happened to be a drug store. He walked past not noticing me and we breathed in relief. That was close!
