Dark Forest:
Mushrooms scattered in a path towards the Dark Castle saw Leon enter. They whispered to each other down the line like a game of Telephone. The last mushroom gave his message to a goblin near the castle. The goblin raised an eyebrow.
"That doesn't make any sense!"
Another goblin approached, "News from the mushrooms? We should tell sire!"
"Alright, but you tell him. He likes you."
"Really?" The goblin smiled and the pair hurried into the castle.
They stopped in front of the throne where the King sat. One goblin cleared his throat. The King looked over at him.
"News from the Mushrooms, sire!"
"Well? Go ahead..." The King snarled, blue eyes sparkling dangerously.
"A tall chef is into shark storage!"
"What?"
"Ya' know when you have a shark and no place to store it? A tall chef-!.....also has that problem......that doesn't make sense!"
The King, infuriated with this little game, stood and flew outside. He used his staff to knock mushrooms from their perches and into the gorge below. He grabbed a mushroom and raised it to his ear. The mushroom whispered the message to him and he raised his free hand and placed it on his forehead.
"A small elf is in the Dark Forest!" The King clarified before tossing the mushroom he had been holding into the gorge as well.
The King sent several goblins out to find the elf. He stalked back into the castle and sat at his throne once again.
"If he's looking for trouble...he's come to the right place...."
A Different Part of The Dark Forest:
Leon trembled at every noise. Anything could lead to his end. Suddenly, he felt like he was being tugged back and looked at the boulder beside him. On it was a shadow that appeared to be a giant and horrifying monster! Leon yelped in surprise and turned to look. Instead of a monster, a small imp sat on a stump behind him. The fluffy creature had tied Leon's backpack to the stump that it was seated on. Leon almost snarled as he walked over to the imp.
"Oh tied my backpack to the stump, did you? You think that's funny?" Leon freed his bag and began to continue walking.
The imp seemed unsatisfied and leaped into the tree above. It swung down on a vine and took the Primrose petal from Leon.
"Hey! I need that for the Sugar Plum Fairy!" Leon stated as he scaled the tree, snatching the petal back.
The imp flicked its ear and a smile appeared on its face, "Awesome! Not as awesome as me of course...but I know where the Sugar Plum Fairy is! I can show you!"
Leon, who didn't expect the creature to sound German, blinked in confusion but followed the imp anyway, "You better not be tricking me again because elves are very trusting creatures, so here's me, trusting you!"
Faerie Land:
"Tino!""Kinda busy, Dad!"
Tino hovered, blindfolded and was testing his sense sharpness with help from his three pixie friends. A pixie would approach and Tino would bump it away with the blunt side of his sword.
"There's an Elves Spring Festival coming up and I want y-!"
"After the last dance? Seriously?"
"Well...Mathias may have a few character flaws, but....he loves you!"
