Introduction:
Harry: I was leaving. To go to a new home. I didn't want to. I turned to see her. She was my best friend. Her name was Kathryn Allen. Her eyes were pink and puffy. She hugged me. "I'll miss you," she said in my ear. We had been friends since I was little. Nearly six years.
"I'll miss you too," I said.
"Can you stay in touch?" she asked. I nodded, my eyes not meeting hers. "Hey!" she said, I could hear a smile in her voice, "Look at me cutie, or I'll make you." There was the Kathryn I knew. I looked up at her. She punched my in the arm, "Now wipe those tears and get in that car so you can play with your dollies."
"I don't play with dolls," I muttered, laughing. She smiled.
"If you keep crying thats what I'd guess," she said, smiling.
"I'm not crying," I said. Kathryn rolled her eyes.
"See yah later," she said, "Cutie." I rolled my eyes, opening the car door. As we drove away, I watched her from Gemma's rearveiw mirror. And that was the last time I saw my best friend.
Until today.
