"What's wrong?" Calvin asked me.

"Nothing, it's just something that Dylan told me."

"Oh, but you're okay now right?"

"Yeah I guess."

This mess is getting to me and it shouldn't. Dylan should let me do what I want to do, but what if he is right? What if Calvin isn't who he seems? I don't want to be stressed by this anymore. Thank god next is lunch.

During lunch I sat next to the window but I was alone, that is until Dylan came.

"Hey Annabel, we need to talk."

"About what?"

"Look, I'm really sorry about earlier. I just got jealous and I couldn't help myself."

"Okay I get that now, but why were you jealous?"

"Maybe it's because I have a secret that you don't know yet."

As soon as he was about to tell me, Audrey and her squad of "friends" started walking toward us.

"Sup losers."

"What do you want Audrey?"

"I heard you and Calvin were a thing, but I have to warn you. If you keep stepping in the way of our relationship, you won't hear the end of it."

Relationship? Wait he never said he was in an other relationship. I quickly jerked my things from my chair and ran to the restroom. I heard my name called by Dylan, but I kept running. I ran to the last stall, hoping no one saw the mascara starting to drip from my eyelashes. I quickly grabbed my phone and called my mom, but it went to voicemail.

"Annabel, are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'll be out in a second."

I wiped the mascara from my face and put on a new layer. As I left the restroom, right in front of me was Calvin.

"Hey Babe, you okay?"

"Just leave me alone."

I ran out the doors to get to class, but suddenly, someone grabbed me arm and turned me around. It was Dylan. I dropped my backpack and hugged him,
his jacket still warm.

"Everything is okay. Do you still wanna talk?"

"Sure, but let's go somewhere else."
