Transformers fanfiction: Book one

New Energy

I crossed the border and the first thing I heard was, "Stargazer, I'm sending Soundwave to your coordinates to pick you up. Return with him and we will discuss your findings." Megatron was right because I heard Soundwave coming from a league away. I had to think fast. I either insert the matrix or, leave it here... too late... I inserted it and felt a drain in my energon level. I collapsed but didn't black out. I tried to get up but no avail. Everything was numb and useless at the moment. Soundwave approached me and asked what happened. I just stared at him like I didn't know him anymore, just like the lie said and he bought it. He helped me up and the space bridge opened. He helped me through and we left this land behind.

I think Soundwave called for knockout because he was there when we emerged from the unknown. He got on the opposite side of me and the two of them got me to sickbay, Megatron followed. He kept asking Soundwave what happened but he would say when they are sure of my condition, he will tell them everything lazerbeak found. Knockout examined me with extreme caution because if he touches black energon, he will disintegrate on the spot just like that. He reported that my energon reading dropped and was now stabilizing. Megatron smiled and complimented him on stating the obvious. There was energon coming from my left side from who knows what. Maybe the primes did that. "... I'm sorry to say this lord Megatron but... she has no memory of her entire life. She doesn't even know who she is." Megatron looked down. His face was shadowed so I couldn't see his expression. He left with Soundwave and Starscream came rushing in. He bought the hoax as well. He was bawling and telling knockout to make sure I will get my memories back. He needs me but I can't tell him of the lie. It would mess up everything and I would get beat for it too. I had to play stupid for now and over time I will start talking normal again.

After knockout escorted Starscream out, Soundwave remained. He had that serious look on his featureless face. "Nice work stargazer, you have officially become my apprentice. That was a pretty good lie you played out, I'm impressed. I just have one concern, how long do you think you can keep this up? Megatron will find out sooner or later." "I'll take care of it ok? I didn't want Megatron to find this." I showed him the video surveillance that sandstorm recorded. I didn't want him to see it from my eyes because then he would really know my plan. "I see, the primes told you to keep your family and loved ones close because the prophecy is coming. I knew this day would come but I didn't think it would be you. I thought it would be Optimus, the one who was revived with that matrix, but I was wrong..." for the remainder of his visit, Soundwave fixed my old body and put me back into it. I was happy and so was Megatron.

Megatron entered the room with a small smile on his face. He walked straight up to me and ordered Soundwave out. "I want to show you something you might like. Close your eyes and don't peek." As I closed my eyes, he walked behind me and placed his hands on my shoulders. He started to walk and I just went with it. I felt something I have never felt before when he put his hands on my shoulders. A memory revealed itself to me. It was of starscream giving me a silver ring and Megatron taking it and putting it in his quarters where I couldn't find it. I popped back into reality when Megatron bumped me into a wall. "Sorry, stargazer." I smiled and continued walking wherever he guided me. A moment later, he stopped me and let go. He walked off somewhere and came back with something. "You can open your eyes now." I opened my eyes and looked around with wonder.

He led me into a room with targets hanging off the ceiling and furniture in it. It looked like Megatron's room...It was. "Do you like it?" I turned and looked behind me. He was back in his spot before he let go and he was holding a box. I moved closed to him and put my arms on his shoulders, he did the same. He leaned toward me and he stopped an inch from my lips. I closed the distance and we kissed. The sensation I felt before was love. I had strong feelings for Megatron and now I knew he loved me. We separated and he lifted my hand, opened the box and put a silver ring on my finger. "This ring is a symbol of my devotion to you and how far I will go to protect you. I will treat you not as one of my soldiers, but as my love. When you are alone, I will come to love you. When you cry, I will hold you and wipe away the tears of sadness. I love you and nothing will change how I feel about you, nothing." We kissed again, confirming our "marriage" for the rest of our lives. Megatron meant what he said and I loved him for it as well.
