When Riley got home she found Maya sitting there crying. Riley knew why. The date with Joshua must not have worked out well. Riley went over to the couch and gave her best friend a hug.
"Riley......," whispered Maya, "don't waste your time with boys, it's not worth it, really not worth it.
Riley nodded but wasn't sure if she would leave boys alone. She was still going to wait for the boy she met at Starbucks to call, even though she didn't know if he would or would not. She felt bad for Maya, she really did but just because Maya had a bad experience with boys didn't mean that she would as well.
"Hey Maya, do you want me to go get us some tuna melts or not," Riley asked trying to cheer up her friend.
Maya nodded and Riley went to go get them. She caught the subway went down the street turned left when suddenly......... Riley's phone buzzed.
