There are some people in the world,
Who are just a little different from the rest.
These people have been through Hell,
But have come out better than the best.
I've only met a few of these gems,
But each one has left their mark on my life.
We're a special kind of people,
Take life without all the strife.
Through every bitter situation,
Every ill hand fate has dealt
We put our heads on straight,
And handle what we've felt.
We swallow the pain. Swallow the pride.
We bite our tongues. We will survive.
Nothing more. Nothing Less.
And we will come out the best.
We will survive.
