Something to Me

I close my eyes, you're all I see and when I open them you're gone.
I need to just forget about you but I know I'm wrong.
You have been part of my life since I can remember.
And now you're taking control of me with the snap of your finger.

I thought you loved me but I was wrong.
You are just using me as a pawn.
This was all a game to you but not to me.
You really meant something to me.
I thought I could trust you but I was wrong.
You told my secrets and, because of that I'm long gone.
Without you I'm finally free.
But you really meant something to me.
