The 'Ambush'

Life is like a lone wolf, it can be beautiful, but it takes and it takes. Never waiting, forever trying to survive and come out on top. Ruthless within the way it lives, but becomes strong within that process.

(Third person) P.O.V*

As (y/n) walked through the village of Konoha her hood over her eyes. Staring blankly at the ground as she walked along the street. Kids and adults racing by, her ear buds in and blasting (favorite song).

She always had a good sense of what was in a close proximity to her. So, she didn't really care about where she was walking by or around. She just kept walking.

When (y/n) turned down a side street leading to her apartment the (h/c) haired girl turned down a sketchy looking alley. The dark walls littered with bits and pieces of glass bottles and trash. She didn't really care if people where loitering. Just so long as they didn't touch her, they were fine.

You really didn't like people touching you, it brought back anxiety and fear from when your step-father touched you. Your perception of emotions was that you were showing how week you actually were, and you hated that.

There were four people in the alley one in front, behind, and two on either side of you, they where trying to conceal their chakra but weren't succeeding, to your level.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V*

I sensed four people in the alley one in front, behind, and two on either side of me. Man were they bad at concealing their chakra. 'Well, I have been itching for a little skirmish.'

I stopped and smirked, my eyes still covered by the (favorite/color) sweatshirt. I smiled and decided to taunt them a little by pin pointing their exact location.

I started chuckling at the fact of how bad they where and I couldn't stop, so I pointed to each one of them "I mean really come out you aren't fooling me," I was getting siked for this and I mean, really excited. I stopped for a fraction of a second because their chakra signatures seemed familiar, but I just put it past me. I mean, it's a small village, right?

I stopped chuckling and got out four kunai from the holster on my leg. I threw them right at the people's head so they had to dodge them.

I smiled faintly, when they were distracted I made a clone and teleported to the roof to observe and figure out exactly who they were.

'A skirmish? Actually it's just me beating them to a nearby inch of their life. Hehe I sure am evil sometimes.' I watched as all of them lunged at my clone.

'Why didn't I recognize them sooner Kiba, Naruto, Ino, and Sakura! I hang out with them a lot, and they know me and wouldn't hurt me, I was on edge for nothing.' I disable my clone and they all crash into each other.

I laugh so hard at the jumbled mess and fall over laughing at the sight, I couldn't breathe I was laughing so hard. They actually made me smile, my best friends, as much as I hated to admit it.

I guess they noticed my loud laughing and got up, jumping onto the roof, I was glared at by all of them but kiba picked me up, shaking me playfully.

I was heaving because I couldn't breathe. But when I realized he was touching me I quickly pushed him away and stood away from the group.

"Do not touch me. You know what it brings up, Kiba." I softly glared trying to deny the feelings I had for him. 'No way was I going to confess to him and be pictured as a stereotypical teenager who falls for guys way out of their league.'

I hopped off of the roof and grabbed my kunia from the walls and ground. I turned to them "Why where you waiting to ambush me anyways?" I asked my hands in my sweatshirt pocket and my (h/c) hair slightly showing from inside my hoodie.

Kiba's P.O.V*

After we tried to ambush her and her clone disappeared. Ino, Sakura, Naruto, and I where untangled I heard (Y/N) laughing on the roof. The girls' faces where so red, it was awesome.

We all looked at each other and jumped on top of the roof and I picked her up, shaking her. I honestly wasn't mad, I couldn't help it her small form on the ground wheezing with a pink face. Adorable!

I just couldn't help but pick her up I knew how she felt about being touched I just couldn't restrain myself I needed to.

I like her but I don't know how she feels, when she realized I was holding her she quickly pushed away "Do not touch me. You know what it brings up, Kiba."

She said in that sweet voice of her's. She sort of glared at me I couldn't really tell if it was hate or what I can't really read her expression like I could all the other girls.

"Why did you guys ambush me anyways?" She asked saying ambush in a slightly sarcastic tone. "Well..." I hesitantly trailed the l's "we wanted to see if you wanted to go to the movies with us?"

(Y/N) P.O.V*

"Uh sure" I was looking at Sakura, she looked like she was about to speek, and she did. "Oh (Y/N)-chan you need to come with me and Ino to the mall so we can pick out an outfit for the movies!" Sakura said.

"Uh no thanks I dont have the money for it at the moment." I put my hands back in my sweatshirt pocket.

"(Y/N)-chan come on I will pay we want to spend time with you, without these two dobes," Ino chimed in. "Uh I guess so, I will go home and get my stuff do you girls want to come with me?"

I glanced at Kiba he was looking at us weird like he was debating on something and Naruto was looking off into the sky. 'Probably thinking about Hinata, he expresses himself in such a weird way, I wonder who Kiba likes?'

I wondered around in my thoughts looking blankly ahead of me. I get back to the present from Sakura and Ino screaming my name and waving their hands in my face. "Huh, yeah." I asked monotonously.

"(Y/N)! Stop day dreaming and lets get going come on!" Ino said and Sakura grabbed my wrist. I tried really hard not to yelp in pain but kept it in and followed her with Ino trailing behind.

Kiba's P.O.V*

I watched as (Y/N) was dragged away by Ino and Sakura and sighed a little, noticing a hint of pain on her face. I began to worry a little but pushed it to the back of my mind and looked at Naruto, he had a smirk on his face.

"What?" I questioned "I saw how you where looking at (Y/N)-chan y-" "Naruto get that thought out of your head I don't like (Y/N) so cut it out and nock it off." I cut him off and looked away blushing profusely, with my cheeks puffed out, I answered a bit too quickly, surprisingly, he caught on.

"So you do like her. I knew it, You know its going to be hard to gain her affection right? With her anxiety about how her step-dad did those things, ya'know?" He commented. "Naruto I know" I looked at where she was just standing.
