A village was an understatement. When I came to the burning 'village' what I saw was as burning kingdom. I saw a sign that said, 'Welcome to Stormwind, the kingdom of the wind' more like the kingdom of fire. The girl had started running a bit faster ahead of me. "Hey wait up!" I grabbed her lightly by the arm, "what's going on? Who are you?" I said.
She then replied with, "My name is Miranda, this is the castle village known as Stormwind. This place is currently under attack by lizard-men known as D'Jargo. Please hurry!" What the fuck is a D'Jar- a giant lizardman had landed right in front of us. It was about 7' (that's seven feet for those who don't know) tall and it had a spiked tail leaking some poison. It swung its tail and I, using reactions I never knew I had, drew the fire sword in an instant and slashed it with all my might, my arms were even hurting from the swing.
It had been cut in half and was caught on fire from the sword. "Ack! What the?!" The handle was burning my hand. I quickly sheathed it as three more D'Jargo landed In front of us. I quickly picked up the girl and ran past then at full speed, I carried her for a while until we hit the middle of town. "Here." I said as I opened a cabinet that was in an alleyway, "stay here and stay quiet." I closed it and put a brick on it. I heard the roar of the D'Jargo on the rooftops and ran as fast as I could towards the most important looking building which was a tower in the middle of the town, the tip of it seemed to be unharmed from the rest of the city. When I got to the building I tried to climb it. Gah! Too slippery. I thought. I could hear the roar of D'Jargo in the distance. Think! There must be a way to get in. I thought as I looked around, debris was everywhere. A few pieces however caught my eye, a few broken wall I could carry, a rope, and a weird triangle item with carvings in it. Rrrrraaaaaaaaagghh. The roars were getting closer, I quickly grabbed the three walls and set them up as a box, the last wall the least bit open as I grabbed the triangle item. H-Holy sh-shit! I thought as I saw a blue colored D'Jargo, wearing armor and wielding some type of black/red sword. The sword was a sawtooth blade, where the teeth of the blade were red, the rest of it was black and dominated a black smoke. I quickly dove into the box I built and pulled the rope closing the box just in time as some of the D'Jargo ran past me, unnoticing me. A few minutes passed as the noise died down, and I was a little nervous to poke my head out but I did it. Man that was a mistake. I saw the blue D'Jargo standing, stating at the box. I ducked back in. I wonder if h- my thought was cut off as the black and red blade cut through the box and barely missed me, in the hole it left I could see the gap in between its feet. I quickly dove through the gap and rolled to my feet. It roared at me, but I had my own roar of courage, "I'm done running!" I said, staring into its black eyes. The D'Jargo roared at me and started charging at me. This'll be fun. I thought, being cocky. I bowed to it as it charged and said, "Let the games begin!" As I charged towards it. It swung the sword at my head as I slid under it. I jumped up and kicked it in the back making it stumble a few feet. It turned around with rage in its eyes as it snapped the sword in half, creating two daggers. It charges at me. OK same thing, let's go! I thought. It swung a dagger over me as I slid under it but then it stabbed down with the other dagger. "Gah!" I exclaimed as it cut in between my shoulder and my neck. I stood up holding my shoulder and looking at the D'Jargo. It stepped forward and swung at me. I jumped back dodging it and tripping over a stray rock on the ground. The D'Jargo spared no time as it stepped towards me and stabbed forward with its dagger catching me in the chest. I screamed out in pain as I could feel the dagger inside my chest as he twisted it and pulled it out of my chest. It laughed at me as I started crawling backwards. My vision was starting to get blurry. I was going to have to be quick, but this opponent was big, and strong. I'll just have to be stronger and faster. The D'Jargo stepped exactly where I was as I rolled to the side. The bag! I remember Nurse Jane gave a first aid bag. I quickly got on top of some rubble the D'Jargo couldn't climb. I reached inside the bag and pulled out this needle with black liquid and a note. I read the note first:
Dear Tony,
You may be wondering what this is. It is demon blood. It will instantly heal you and make you faster and stronger, but once you do so your black fur will turn white. This will be irreversible. Be careful, certain artifacts will force you into a demonic state where you will not be able to tell friend from foe. Good luck
Love, Jane
Hmmm, if what this says is right, then I will never be able to be accepted by humans, but it will also enable me to protect any friends I might have and prevent anything from happening unlike..... Sai....... I made up my mind and stabbed the needle into my leg. I instantly felt better. My vision changed too, everything was black and white. My fur turned white just like the note said. I jumped down and it seemed like the D'Jargo was moving in slow motion. It swung its daggers at me slowly and I easily moved out of the way, I grabbed one of its arms and brought my elbow down hard upon its own elbow breaking its arm. It dropped the dagger which I picked up. Agh! It started burning my hand. Then I'll make this quick I pulled back my arm for an upwards slash. I sliced through the D'Jargo so fast I couldn't see a cut mark on it until three seconds after I cut it. Then I jumped up and punched it in the face making it fly towards the tower. It crashed through the tower wall revealing a staircase as my vision turned back to normal. I walked over to the staircase and climbed up it until I met a brown wooden door. I opened it. It's dark in there. I thought. I went into the tower, my eyes slowly adjusted to the darkness as I walked around the dark room. Old relics. Worn out swords. Some monk robes with leather battle padding. Seems this city had a home for monks who could fight. Then I came across a picture. It had man with a huge sword and a very nice coat. The name read "Jackson "The Lone Wolf" Johnson". Weird, two names. I walked around the room until I came across a sword. The sword was encased in clear metal. I tried to break it open but I couldn't. I looked around the room until I found a trapdoor in the floor. When I opened it and looked through I saw the key. I jumped into the hole and landed right next to the silver key. I reached for it when a blinding light launched me back into a wall. As I staggered to my feet I heard a voice,
"You are trying to collect 'The Sword Of The Ashbringer' I will not let you. Now die!" It said.
Here we go again! I thought.
