Your POV

Garroth takes me to his house and his house was pretty nice. He leads me to a guest bedroom down the hall from his. He leaves me alone in my room and the first thing I do is grab my _____(favorite color) backpack and take out a picture of my sister, my mom, and me. I place it beside my bed and stare at the ceiling thinking about my sister and mom. I started to cry just thinking about them. I cried myself to sleep.

Garroth's POV

I heard crying from _____(your name) room. I just wondered why she was crying, but I just wondered why I kept on thinking about her. I'm i just tried or I like. I didn't know. I woke in the morning and changed. When I was done I went to _____(your name) room and saw her sound asleep. I just wondered what can I do to make her feel right at home. So then I had an idea.

Your POV

You wake up seeing the door close and wonder if Garroth came into your room. You just got a weird feeling. You change and run downstairs and run to Aphmau's house so quick, but on the way there you see Garroth walking around doing guard work so I decided to go talk to him. "Good morning ____(your name). Have a goodnight sleep?" He asked me. "Yes, and also I wanted to apologize for attacking you yesterday. I'm just not good at making friends." You say. "No, it's my fault got make the first move." He says. "Well I going Aphmau's house. I will see you later" you say leaving. When Aphmau opens the door you a little kid next to her. "Hey _____(your name), this is Levin." She tells me. "Hi Levin, I'm _____(your name)." You tell him. "Hi. Wha this on face?" He asks me. I touch my eye where my scar is. "It's just a little cut." You tell him. "Oh, okay" he tells you. "So what do you need today ____(your name)?" Aphmau asks. "Oh I just wanted to thank you for letting me stay in your village after attacking Garroth." "It's okay, you were confused but no one has never defeated Garroth one of my best guards." She tells you. You wonder where shes going with this. "So I decided to offer you a job as one of my new guards." She tells you. "REALLY?!" You ask. "YES REALLY! So what do you say?" She asks. "Of course!" You tell her. "Welcome to Phoenix Drop." She tells you giving you your helm. You leave as fast as you can to go tell Garroth. You find Garroth and tell him the news. "Garroth guess what!" You tell him. "What?" He asks. "Aphmau asked me to be one of her guards!" You yell. "That's great!" He said. "Did you have something to do with this?!" You ask. "Maybe." He tells you. "Thank you Garroth!" You tell him then giving him a hug. He hugs you back. "So I should get going."Yeah I need to get to work!" He says. We say our goodbyes and I go to sit on a bench just thinking what my dad is doing trying to find me. Then someone sat next to me. "I haven't seen you around here before?" He asks me."I'm Laurence by the way." "I'm _____(your name). I am new here. I came here yesterday." You tell him. "Oh your the one who attacked Garroth yesterday." He said. "Um... Yeah." You say with a sigh. "What's wrong?" He asks me. You push your _____(hair color) hair back and tell him. "I just don't know if someone would except me for who I am. Because people didn't except me for who I am back home." You tell him, "WAIT! Why should I be telling you this!" You get up and run to Garroth's house and lock yourself in your room.

Garroth's POV

I couldn't believe that she hugged me! When she left I saw sit on a bench when Laurence sat next to her. Then she ran away. Laurence walks past me and I grab him. "What did you do to her?" I ask Laurence. "I didn't do anything! I just asked her what's wrong and she said that she doesn't know if anyone would except her for who she is, because people didn't except her for who she is back home. Then she just ran away." Laurence said. I let go of Laurence and he runs walks away like nothing happened. Why would she say that about herself. She's a nice girl. I go to my house to see if she was okay. I knock on the door. "Who is it?!" She says and I hear her sniffle. "It's Garroth. Can I come in." I asked. "Okay." She replies. I walk in and I see _____(your name) sitting on the bed crying. She wipes away her tears. "What's wrong? Why have you been crying a lot recently?" I asked her and sat next to her. She sighs and speaks "About a year ago my mom got a rare illness called _____(any illness you want) and which there was no cure, so she died later on that week. It broke me and my sisters heart to see my mom go. My dad on the other hand never care about any of us. Then a month ago my sister killed herself and she left me by myself with my father. So I finally decided to go look for somewhere to stay on my own. Then I came across Phoenix Drop." She tells me. "Laurence told me that you told him that people didn't except you back home." I told her. "HE TOLD YOU THAT! That's the last time I tell him anything!" She said. "_____(your name)..." I call her. She sighs "My dad thought I was trouble so when my mom and sister dad died my dad would beat me up for no f***ing reason! Other people called me bad, evil, a misfit, your worst nightmare." She tells me tearing up, "I knew I was mischief's kid but I tried so hard to ignore them but I drawled the line when someone told me that I was my moms worst mistake ever!" She covers her face with her hands. "So what you have mischief in your blood. You don't have to worry about anyone here to treat you horrible." I told her. I took off my helm and placed it beside me. She removed her hands looking at my helm then looking at me. I hugged her. "Just think aabout the future instead of the past. Your free now." I told her. She hugged me back. "Thank You Garroth! For Everything!" She tells me. After a minute or two I leave her alone to think.

Your POV

I saw Garroth's face for the first time ever. He was kinda... cute. WAIT WHAT! No you can't think like that he probably doesn't think the same about you. He will never feel the same about me not after hearing what people used to think of you.
