Meeting

Aphmau's POV

I woke up hearing a knock on the door. I got up and walked to the door half asleep. I opened the door to see Laurence.

"Laurence? What is it?" I said.

"We received a letter." He said.

"About what?" I asked.

"I think you should see it yourself." He said handing me the letter.

To: Lord Aphmau

It has been brought to my attention that villages around the world have been destroyed. Zane has been sending his army to every village to destroy them and I'm afraid that our village will next. So I sent you this so you guys can be warned and prepare for war. Zane is coming and you need to be ready.

I was shocked from this. I knew Zane would want war soon but not this soon. I was barely recovering from _____(your name) death.

"Thank you, Laurence for bringing this to my attention. Now I need to think what we will do." I said.

"Your welcome." Laurence said leaving.

I closed the door and went upstairs to my room. I sat down on my couch and Levin came in.

"Mommy...when ____(your name) coming back?" Levin said.

"She will be back soon." I said thinking that she will never be back.

"Okay." Levin said leaving and Malchai came in.

"Mom?" Malchai said.

"Yes Malchai?" I asked.

"I heard you talking to Laurence. Are we really going to war?" He asked.

"Yes... We have no choice." I said, "But in promise that you and Levin won't get hurt."

"I know you will and protect everyone else too." Malchai said leaving.

I thought about what we will do. Then it came to me. I got up and went to tell Laurence what my plan is.

Garroth's POV

I was in my living room thinking. Then someone knocked on the door. I looked through the window and saw Kayla. I opened the door.

"What is it Kayla?" I said.

"Aphmau told me to tell you that...well just look at this." She said handing me a letter.

I saw it and it was from Pikoro Village. It said that Zane's army has been destroying villages around the world. I finished reading it and looked at Kayla.

"Aphmau wanted me to tell everyone that she wants to see everyone in the plaza at 2pm." Kayla said.

"Thank you Kayla." I said.

"It's the least I can do. I'm mostly useless." She said with a laugh then walked away. I closed my door. I didn't know if I should go.

Aphmau's POV

I looked through the crowd of people and didn't see Garroth. He didn't show up. I explained the plan to everyone and what they will have to do.

"Emma, Kiki, and Molly, Zoey will be taking you and the kids somewhere save." I said as they nodded.

"Everyone else will stay here to help us win this battle." I said, "Also Emmalyn I need to see after this meeting." She nodded.

"Brendan and Dante, I need you to keep guard for anything." I said.

Once the meeting was over Emmalyn came up to me.

"You wanted to see me?" She said.

"Yes, can you tell me more about Marisa?"I asked.

"Oh yeah. Marisa is 21 years old. It tragic because when she was 18 her home town was destroyed and nobody knew what happened to her, but she's here. She also had a younger sister but died when her hometown was destroyed. " She said.

"How do you know so much about her?" I said.

"She the most famous magics user ever and she's written in many books. She's been famous since she was 16 years old. If you want to know more about her, I think Lucinda can help you with that. She's been taking a interest in Marisa. I don't know why but...yeah." She said.

"Thank you Emmalyn." I said as she left.

I walked over to Lucinda's house and knocked on the door.

"Yes Aphamu?" She said.

"I wanted to talk to you about Marisa?" I said.

"WHY?! I DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT MARISA?!" She said.

"Lucinda, I know you know something." I said.

"Okay, but we need to talk inside." She said. We walked in and sat down.

"I know everything about Marisa." She started.

"How?" I asked.

"Because...she's m-m-" She said.

"Your what?" I asked.

"She's m-my s-sister."
