You were always told you were too cocky and full of yourself. That one day it would be the thing that destroyed me. You worked hard to become the famous assassin you are. Went through so much trial, error, and training it's not even funny. Your name became well known among the underground and you were a highly sought after assassin. You didn't just stop at humans though. Oh, no. You went where the real money was meant to be made. Assassinating monsters, and it has been quite the lucrative endeavor. Not many humans are willing to touch the monster side of the world, but you were. You didn't care who the client was, you just cared about making the money, and boy do monsters know how to tip on top of the agreed cost. You were confident and cocky, and it got you captured by a monster. Your dream of a life of freedom was gone in the blink of aneye, and you were sent to a Hell even the Devil himself would hate.

You obviously had to adapt weapons depending on the monster you're attacking. When you got a letter about a creature known as Sexual Offenderman you did some research and boy does this creature make your blood boil. Countless sexual assaults and murders. Who wouldn't want to kill this guy? You did your research, and you were confident. Confident you could kill him. Oh how wrong you were. He knew you were following him, but he was entertained and decided to let things go on. Then came the night to kill him.

You spiked his drinks until he was a stumbling drunk, swooping in to save the day. You helped him back to your hotel room where you were intending to finish the job. You got him laid down on your bed and you go to step away. In a matter of seconds a strong hand grabs your wrist and next thing you know you're pinned beneath this grinning monster. You stare up at him with wide eyes, no longer drunk and fumbling. How?!

"Darling, I do this for a living. You think I can't tell when my drink has been spiked? Nice use of hemlock though. Only issue? I'm immune," He tells you. "Now, if I had been one of my brothers you'd have succeeded in killing them, but not me. Guess you didn't do enough research."

"Fuck you," You curse at him with snarl, bringing your knee upwards and slamming it into his Crown Jewels.

"FUCK!" Offender curses, his hold on you loosening.

You take full advantage and twist your body, shoving Offender off of you and rolling off the bed. You rush to your weapons and grab one of your guns first. Offender is still nursing his injury, so you waste no time emptying your chamber into every vital spot you can reach. Your eyes widen when Offender's 'gaze' snaps to you, feeling the anger radiating off of him. Shit. You decide to abandon it all and bolt out the door. Hopefully he needs time to heal so you can get away. You take a million backroads and alleys as you run, hoping if he did recover you were far enough ahead to get away. You wind out in the country by the time your body finally gives up on you, managing to haul yourself to a barn where you plan to hide out for the night. Yoiur lungs and your muscles are all burning with pain as you heave in breaths to get oxygen but coughing when you inhale too much.

Morning comes with no sign of Offender but you can barely move, so you simply just stay hidden when the owner of the barn comes in to do his work, staying deathly silent until he leaves. Nightfall comes once again and you're sure you're in the clear. You know you should stay alert and on guard, but you're exhausted and just want to sleep.

"I do love a good chase," A deep voice chuckles when you start to doze off, your eyes snapping open as yopu stare in horror at Sexual Offenderman as he twoers over you.
