Buckswarrey Park.
Liam took me there on our first date, which is now a sour memory. I don't know what brought me here, seeing as it's now a place of pain. But I go to the park, and walk to the fountain where we had our first kiss. And what do I see?
Them. Together.
My fists clench and fire rages inside me. Pain stabs at my heart at the sight of Liam and Jenna. Together. Kissing on the fountain. Memories flood over me as I remember my first date with Liam. As we stood there next to the fountain and kissed. Then we raced to the chocolate store and he slammed melted chocolate in my face. We went tearing down the streets laughing and shouting at each other. I wish I could go back to that moment.
Empty.
That's how I feel as I walk away from the boy who use to be mine, and the girl who I called my friend. I walk to the chocolate store, wishing there to be a laughing Liam with me, drizzling the chocolate syrup on my face.
Single scoop mint chip in a cone, please.
That was always Liam's favorite.
Why am I doing this? This is torture for me to relive our past!
I take my cone, pay and flee from the store. I walk further down the street until I reach a park bench that sits underneath a bridge. I hear laughter and pounding steps, looking to see them together.
Liam and Jenna.
Liam grabs her by the waist and she giggles. They stop running and begin to kiss. Anger bubbles up inside me. I walk up to them when they finish.
"oh, Alex. hello."
hello Jenna. how are you?
I say it, ice in my words. But she doesn't seem to notice or care.
"great! Liam is so awesome! we just had a chocolate syrup battle in the chocolate store!" she says, beginning to laugh.
oh, really? sounds familiar, huh Liam?
"hey Jenna, I really think we should be going now."
"alright. bye Alex!"
As she walks away I whisper in her ear.
You stole him from me.
And the smirk she gives me says she knows it all too well. But I glare at her.

And I swear.
If looks could kill,
You'd be dead.
And I,
a murderer.
