The Next Day
6:18 PM

*Lily's apartment*

Lily woke up from a nap she doesn't remembered taking, checked her phone immediately hand gasped to herself, slowly standing up.

"Okay, calm down Lily, there's less than two hours till Matt and I are off for the double date and I haven't even picked out and outfit yet."

"Or showered.", Lily added.

"Stop talking to yourself love, take your time.", said Matt, who was still laying on bed, rubbing his eyes.

Lily smiled back and leaned in to kiss his cheek.

"Get dressed and come back in an hour. I'll be waiting," whispered Lily to Matt.

"Yes, Ma'am." said Matt jokingly and went out of the apartment.

Lily hopped in the shower and picked out a random dinner dress that laid around on her closet. It was a red velvet dress and a clutch to go with it. It was probably her mom's outfit because it seemed pretty old fashion.

It still looks nice though, Why not. I have some heels to go with it as well, said Lily in her mind.

07:19

She did her make up herself and she did have to admit it - she looks gorgeous. Lily kept on reminded herself that this was only a date, not a premiere.

Lily went downstairs and waited for Matt's arrival.
A few minutes later, he came with his polished Bentley.

Matt got off his car and opened the door for Lily.

"You look breathtaking." Complimented Matt.
"Oh, you look sexy with that tux *smirks*"
Matt kissed her shyly and they were off.

08:11

"Well we're eleven minutes late," said Matt.
"I guess that's alright. I'm sure they might be waiting for us though," said Lily not trying to sound like she was worried.

When they got in, the whole restaurant stared at Lily and Matt in awe.

Obviously they were a gorgeous couple.

"Geez, that was bizarre. What about-"

"Oh my goodness you two! It's great to see you. Come have a seat," interrupted Jenna accidentally.

"Thank you! You as well!" Said Lily.

"Hey, Lily," greeted Richard out of no where.
"Hi. You look handsome... As always."

It was an awkward conversation that continued and the waitress came in to break the silence.

"May I take your order? Today's recommendation is the chef's special which are fancy dining made just for double dates,"

"We'll have that, what do you think?" asked Matt.

"Cool."
"that's great!"

And Lily nodded.
