Help!

I'm in Norwalk California's hospital and I feel like some bitch on a Michael Myers movie. I just finished watching the news where a thief stole a woman's purse here. Ugh! Only the night I'm here. *BOOM* I hear off in the distance. I put the cover over me,but I can still see through it. A shadow appears over me and then it opens it mouth to say "hey!" I look up to see a girl. She starts laughing when she sees my scared face. " That was not nice of you!" I screamed. She laughed again.
" Hi I'm Mariah! I'm a cancer survivor. I finally won my battle. I get to go to school now! Make friends and go to parties. I'm ready to become the world,"she excitedly told me.
" What school are you going to?"
"Blevins high school! The Beavers!"
"Wow you are really excited about going to the place of torture? I go there to! When you come we should hangout. I'll give you a tour,share some secrets and greet you to my friends."
" Thank you so much! I already like you. Your the first person to not look at me different because of my cancer! You didn't even think of asking if I'm okay or about the surgeries! You just talked to me! You made my night! Can't wait to see you at school tomorrow! By the way what I just said is a good thing!" She smiled, gave me a hug and walked back to her room. Well someone sure was chatty and happy about school. I laughed.

The next morning I showed Mariah around at school. "What are you doing for lunch?" Mariah asked.
" I have to show my friend Lucas around and catch him up on school work." I smiled then added. " You can sit with my friends at lunch if you like?" Mariah nodded her head rapidly smiling. "Hey Jonell!" I turn around to see Anastasia and Andrew hugged up laughing. " Hi guys! Anastasia do you mind if I call you Ana?"
" No! Are you okay Jonell? I'm really sorry."
"It's fine Ana. You guys are a cute couple by the way! Oh shit! Guys this is Mariah! I mate her at the hospital last night. Treat her nice I have to show Lucas around school."
" Did you just say Lucas?"Screamed Lara.
"Yeah.want to come with me to show him around?"
"Are we talking about me?" Everyone turned their to head to see Lucas. Lara ran to him so fast it was amazing. They hugged and kissed." Babe don't ever go with Andrew to Germany again! You were gone so long!"
" I can't keep that promise because those girls were screaming my name!" He laughed and Lara punched him. "Babe! They were screaming my name and trying to flirt with me! But don't worry because none of them were you?" "I know." Linda laughed.
" That is so gross! Lara you can show Lucas around instead if you want!" I said with disgust on my face. " Jonell don't be grumpy because you are living the single life!" Lucas screamed as Clarisse walk in.
"Ugh! finally someone who is not in a relationship! Clarisse lets get to class! I have a life to live!" *ring* Thank goodness for the bell. "Wait I still get a hug don't I?" Lucas asked. We all ran and gave him a group hug and went to class. The day pretty much was full of couple at our table, so I sat with my guy friends this time and saw Mariah already there. I smiled at her. I was good to know that she was enjoying herself. It was a bonus that she wasn't a girly girl though. Thank goodness!
