Okay so I don't think Stiles wants to break up with Malia because he thinks he's going to hurt her but we all know he loves Lydia and its different and Malia and Stiles have been drifting apart more then ever barely kissing and being a couple maybe Malia realized that Stiles doesn't "love" her as much as he did in season 4 he's also lied to Malia about his shoulder so maybe they're going to break up soon because Malia has realized that Stiles doesn't like her anymore and Stiles has been hanging out with Lydia more and more.
