I shut my annoying alarm clock as I sit on my bed trying not to fall asleep again n rubbed my sleepy eyes.Damn,I shouldn't have slept late at night but it's not like I was partying or anything,I was completing my school assignment which is due today. 

Oh how rude I'm! I didn't introduce myself. Hi,I'm Roselyn Summer,17 n a half years old.Turning 18 in 2 days n yes I'm a werewolf.Not technically but still I'll be when I'll change on my 18th bday.I'm really excited about it for 2 reasons.Firstly I'll change into a wolf n secondly I'll find my mate.It's not like u change into a wolf n BOOM u found ur mate.If u can't find ur mate on ur bday that means he/she don't belong from ur pack n u've to visit other packs or fate will meet u two in it's way.I hope I would be lucky to find him on my bday.I always dream about finding my mate.It's like a magical bliss when u find each other,there would be no one but u two as our eyes connect each other n everyone else vanish from the earth.

I sighed coming out of my thoughts n dragged myself to the bathroom.After my morning routine,I changed in my denim jeans n a white tank top.I let my hairs fall around my shoulder.Taking my book bag, I made my way to downstairs.I live with my step-parents n step-siblings.My step-parents wanted a girl but after delivering my step-brothers,Dylan,doctor said that maybe mother can't conceive so they adopted me.But after 2 years mother conceived Katherine.I love my parents but they stopped loving me from the day they knew bout Katherine was on the way.Maybe not instantly but after a year,I saw that in their behaviour.It's not like they gave me attic to live,no I still have my room n other necessary things but their love.They also stopped caring about me,they just do formalities.They stopped asking little questions like how was my day? or how was scholars going? I know some teenagers will be happy if their parents stop bugging them but not me.I want my parents bugging me coz this way I'll know that they care about me.Dylan n Katherine are the same.For them I1m only their step-sister who don't belong in their family.

I tries my hardest to become a part of this family btw after sometime I gave up n be myself.

''Morning mother'' I said grabbing an apple from kitchen table.

''Morning'' she said taking a sip from her coffee.

''Oh good u're ready,I don't want to be late coz of u,let's go'' Dylan said coming downstairs n going to the front door.

I went outside to his car climbing on passenger seat.He started the engine n we're off to school.Pulling in school parking lot,I wonder my eyes to the front school doors.Cassidy n Josh were standing there together smiling.They are my best friends n knew about my family, understanding my feelings.Cassidy was same age as mine but her bday is after 3 months n Josh was 18 n a half years old.Josh didn't find his mate in our pack which is Midnight Moon pack,the second biggest pack in US.We've 300 pack members including kids.The first biggest pack is Blood Moon pack with 600 members.

''Hey guys! What are u talking about?'' I asked to my friends as I approach them.

''Hey wer're just talking about our future Alpha,Chase'' Cassidy said looping her arms with mine.

''What about him?'' I asked confusing.

''That he's coming back after a year break from school tomorrow night'' Josh said as we made our way inside the school.

''Oh really?'' I said.How the hell didn't I know about this.

''I don't even want to know what will happen to u if we didn't fill u with pack news.'' Cassidy said stopping at my locker

''Oh come on it's not that important.At least for me.'' I said closing my locker.

''It's is for the pack'' she argued.

''Whatever'' I said

''See u guys later'' Josh said going to his homeroom.

''Come on'' I said to Cassidy looping our arms.

We went to our homerooms n soon school ended n we made our way to homes.
