“What are you doing with her?” I asked him once I was in front of them.

“Oh look who’s here?” Ashley sneered at me making my blood boil.

“Shut up slut” I said now making her mad.

“Now, now that is not the way to talk to someone” Chase said making Ashley smirk at me. Oh how I want to slap that smirk off her face.

I can’t believe he is taking her side.

“Chase I want to talk to you. Alone.” I said

“What’s there to talk about?”

“Chase. Please.” I can’t believe I’m doing this.

“Okay. Fine Babe can you wait for me in cafeteria?” he said to Ashley giving her a peck on lips. So maybe Cassidy is right. And that hurts.

“What do you want” he asked irritated.

“Where were you in the morning?” I asked him hoping he was away for pack work.

“That’s none of your business”

“I’m your mate. Sure it is my business.”

“Yeah unfortunately you are but that doesn’t mean I have to accept you” hearing this just made me feel nauseas.

“wh-what I thought we are together?”

“Oh please why would I accept you as a mate?” he said smirking

“But what about the last night?” I asked as my heart break in million pieces.

“That was nothing. I have to had a taste of you but that doesn’t mean I’m going to have you again” he said it like it didn’t affect him. Of course it doesn’t. I was naïve to think my mate will accept me when my step parents don’t.

“Nothing?  How can you do this to your own mate?” eyes shimmering with tears.

“For me a mate means whom I’ll accept as my Luna of my pack. And you can’t be a good Luna” he said leaning against a locker.

“Why can’t I be good Luna if may I ask?” I said

“Isn’t it obvious? You are a nobody. Your parents don’t have any position in pack. Sure you are not an omega but still I want my Luna from a high position pack who knows about pack business and candle it easily. That you can’t do” this was the bloody reason he can’t accept me as a mate. How idiotic.

“So you just had sex with me so you have a taste of me?” I asked wiping my tears.

“Wrong I didn’t had sex with you. I fucked.” It was like someone slapped me. Hard.

“Why are you doing this to me?” once again my tears flowed in their own freewill

“Are you deaf? I had already told you but I’ll tell you once again I.am.rejecting.you.” he said emphasing the last part so I can hear it clearly.

“Please don’t do this” I begged sobbing.

“I, Chase Hayden, alpha of Midnight Moon pack rejecting you as my mate” he finally said those words
