It's the end of the school day and Lark and I decide to do our homework in the library. We are pulling out our notebooks and setting them on the tables when some brunette grabs our hands and pulls us behind a shelf.

"What the hell?" Lark yells and she looks at her angrily. The brunette just growls at her.

"What are you? Both of you? You don't smell human and don't try lying." she whisper yells at us.

Lark and I look at each other than walk closer to the brunettes face.

"You don't want to know." we both say at the same exact time and then turn around to walk to the table again.

As we sit down I see that the girl has a confused look on her face before she stalks off to find her friends.

"We'll probably have to tell someone soon." Lark says.

"Yeah I know but I don't want to be used again. That's why we left our families. To protect them." I say and sigh. We both look at each other sadly before trying to concentrate on chemical equations. School passes by painfully slow and then once it ends we race to the car and drive home.

"Lark I need major help with my wardrobe. Which dress, the jeweled halter or black v-neck?" I dangle the two dresses in front of her. We are going to some club called Sinema later and I just finished doing my smokey eye and hair.

"Definitely the jeweled." she turns back around to straighten her hair.

As I put on the green jeweled skin tight dress with no back and I realize I might be a little over dressed but I don't care because I look good.

Lark comes to the car wearing a white bandage dress with straight hair and red lips plus black eyeliner. She looks amazing.

"Let's go!! I am soo excited." Lark says and is practically beaming with excitement.

When we finally get there Lark and I walk to the front of the line, as we usually do, and smile oh so sweetly at the person guarding the door. He lets us in. Being supernatural has its perks. As we step in a worker is passing with a tray of shots and we both grab one.

"Ready, set, GO!" We down them and run to the middle of the dance floor. After having quite a few drinks that loosen us up we give each other knowing smiles and run into the middle of the dance floor.

I'm borderline happy and I'm borderline sad.

Lark is dancing and singing to a guy who is literally mesmerized by her when I see Liam. He sees me and immediately his face turns to stone and he is trying to get to me. I grab the guy closest to me, a tall brunette with green or blue eyes, he is gorgeous actually and start singing to him.

"But I'm borderline free, I used to be blind but now I can see." his eyes dilate and he starts dancing with me. Suddenly his eyes start to glow.

"BRETT!! BRETT!" Liam is yelling, I'm guessing at the guy I am with. I grab Lark and nod to the other side of the floor. We go there when suddenly a shorter brunette with a nice but sort of crooked jawline grabs Lark and I. He tries to drag me away but Lark and I sing to him.

"I'm borderline good and I'm borderline bad..."

His eyes start to turn red and he is getting closer to us to try and dance with us but we push him away while singing and run out.

"SHIT was he an alpha?? THIS WAS SUCH A BAD IDEA BUT THAT WAS SO MUCH FUN LET'S DO THAT AGAIN!!!" Lark is yelling while we are running to our car.

"DUDE!! They could have killed us!! Or worse, kidnap us!!" I yell and rev the engine and speed out of there.

"They were all hot ugh why are all the pretty boys crazy..." Lark mumbles.

"True." The second we get home we change and wipe off our makeup both os us eerily quiet over what happened tonight. This town definitely has supernatural creatures, we just hope they don't hurt us.
