chapter - 3 (( "Wait!" ))

I reported to the office at around 7pm in the dress code that was meant to be appropriate for clubbing. I didn't want to seem like a total slut so I went for something more conservative. ( You can check out the outfit above )

" Okay Kara. Wear this ear piece on your right ear. This will help me hear what you're saying and what the lads are going to answer. At no times are you supposed to turn off the mic. Tomorrow return this ear piece and we'll listen to the recording" He placed a black ear piece on my ear tightly.

< 8pm >

I was nervous wreck. I never been to a club before. And if my parents found out I'd be dead by now. I entered the club after I got my ID checked. The music was loud and I could feel my heart beating louder. The flashing lights made me blind as I tried to make my war to the bar.

" Cola please," I told the bartender. He quickly poured me a glass. I wasn't going to buy alcohol. I didn't want to get drunk. Especially infront of my 2 celeb crushes. This is going to be the first time I'll be meeting Aaron and Calum. This is bigger than my career. It's means waaaay more to me than just my career. I don't want to screw things up.

I sipped my cola slowly. Waiting for Aaron and Calum. I kept glimpsing with my parraferal view. But after a good 10 minutes, they were there. "NI hesitantly stood up with my drink in my hand.Trying to get closer and closer to them. Where Are Ü Now by JB and Skrillex started playing and Calum and Aaron started to sing along to it. I smirked at their terrible voices but got so caught up by the way they are just 1/2 a meter from me. I was breathing heavily. All of this was going too fast.

I think I was going to faint... My glass crashed into pieces " Woah. Hey, you alright there?" I felt a strong pair of hands gripped my arms when I was about to fall. "Yeah. Woah. I'm sorry." He let go of my arms and twirled me around to face him. Woah. It was him. His eyes pierced through my soul. I could hear murmuring from my earpiece. But it didn't seem to matter. "It's okay. I'm glad to help you," He smiled and grabbed my hand leading me to the bar. A guy, most probably Aaron following behind.

I took a sit inbetween Aaron and Calum " Were you too drunk? " Aaron smirked. " If I said No would you believe me?" It took me a good 5 seconds to answer. " Yeah. Who couldn't trust a face like yours?" Aaron flirted. I smiled shyly to the ground.

" Anyways, I'm Calum Chambers. You can call me Cal," Calum reaches out his hand for mine , breaking the awkwardness between me and Aaron. I shook his hand. " Hi, I'm Kara Dawn Martinez. Call me Kara. Nice to
Meet you," He nodded his head smiling brightly. " I'm Aaron Ramsey. Aaron for you," He shook my hand willingly.

In my head I was like ' I know both your names , your mom's names and your dog's names' . But I kept it cool. " I've never seen you club here before..." Calum commented. "Uhhh yeah. Actually, I just moved in here in London. I was supposed to meet someone here but that person hasn't turned up," I shrugged my shoulders , acting all cool and collected.

" Your boyfriend?" Calum questioned. I shook my head. " Want some shots?" Aaron suggsted. "Nah, I think I'll pass,"Calum said. "Me too," I agreed with Cal.

< After a few shots >

" Aaron, you're so drunk.I'll call you a cab," Calum fished out his phone.

< After drunk Aaron got home >

" Sorry about Aaron," Calum stratched his head nervously.

" No it's okay. There's no need to apologise," I spread my lips across my face.

" I'll walk you home?" He offered.

" My house is pretty far from here. Like a 15 minutes drive. I can just take a cab. No worries. " I rejected his offer.

" Well then. Come take a ride with me," He lead me to his car. " No saying no," He opened the car door gesturing for me to head in.

" Thank you," I went in the car.

" So , Kara. What makes you move here?" He had his eyes on the road but his glanced at me every now and then. What should I say?

" Oh uh... I'm studying here." I replied, sounding a little too fake.

" Hey, you alright?" He questioned probably realising how tense I was.

" yeah I am." " What are you studying here?"
Wow. This is hard. " Engineering and Science," I replied this time, sounding convincing.

" Wow. That's good. So how old are you...?" He hesitated. " twenty". " Hey, I'm 20 too," He chuckled. " I know" Why did I just say that?! "You mean...?" Awkward silence occured for 10 seconds. "I meant that you look really 20. So I knew it was coming I guess? It sounded better in my head, in my defence." I rambled. " No, no I get it," he laughed.

< arriving at my apartment>
" Nice meeting you Kara Martinez ," he walked me to my door way. I shyly tucked chunk of hair behind my ear. " What's that on your ear?" He tried reaching out for it. "Oh nothing. Just a weird hair thing. You don't want to know about,"I mumbled under my breath. Gosh, he saw the ear piece i'm pretty sure he suspects something. " Oh I get it. Look Kara. Will I be able to see you again?" He asked.

" Ofcourse. Maybe around the streets or something ," I shrugged my shoulders. " Wait, let me rephrase. Can I please see you again?" He mustered up his confidence. " yeah yeah ofcourse. We should," I replied casually. "Here's my number. Leave me a call okay?" He handed me his name card. " Yeah I will. Thanks Cal," I beamed.

" Good night Kara Martinez," He held my shoulder. " Good night Calum Chambers," I rested my hand on his .We said our last good byes and then went seperate ways.

" Wait Kara!" He shouted.

What's up guys. Thanks for reading this chapter. Aaron will come out more inbetween no worries. Sorry for the errors, I'll correct them afterwards.
