chapter - 7 (( late night talks ))

" Thanks a lot Aaron. You really didn't have to," Aaron placed his finger on my lips gesturing for me to stop rambling. "Shhhh... It's alright Kara," he whispered. " Before I go, I just want to know what's troubling you," he added. " Why do you need to know so much?" I grumbled. "Because god, it's troubling me too seeing you like this. This isn't the Kara I met at the club. " He elaborated.

"I'm sorry for that," I hanged my head low. "Naawh... Kara, it's okay if you don't wanna tell me. But if you just wanna like talk, here's my number.You better head in now. It almost 10pm," He handed me his name card and gently pushed me towards my door. "Thanks Aaron," I went in my house opening the door half way. "Shhhh...." He placed his fingers on my lips again and smiled. He walked to his car and drived away.

Aaron's POV

Her lips were soft as I lay my fingers on them. I don't want to things to go too fast. I'll find the perfect time to ask her out. But she's so young, fragile and naive. I cannot break her heart. will she accept me for the way I am or is her heart stuck to Calum's? I need clarification. From Calum.

Calum's POV

Damn do I love Kara. She's so mysterious. Maybe she's right; I barely know her. We've only known each other for 3 days and our first date was a mess! Maybe I have never fell in love with anyone before and now I'm overwhelming myself and Kara.

Who should I take advice from? Aaron.

Kara's POV

I can't sleep. I'm so tired, but i couldn't last not opening my eyes for a good 10 seconds. I need to tell someone. I couldn't do this anymore. I grabbed my phone from the side of my table and dialed Aaron's number. "Hello Aaron ?" I spoke nervously.

Aaron's POV

" Kara ? " I croaked with my sleepy voice. "Yeah it's me . Aaron it's 4am. I'm sorry to bother you ," she spoke through ." I'm glad you called," I smirked ." I need to tell you something face to face tomorrow ." She said ." Why not we meet now ? I'll pick you up," I replied . " Okay . I'll be ready in 15 minutes ," She put down the phone and I got dressed .
