Alex's POV
"Eragon dive!" I yelled.
Eragon shook his head, before closing his wings in tight. We hurtled twords the ocean, ignoring everything else.
I rubbed his neck before slipping out of his sadle and falling threw the sky. He looked at me, letting his tongue hang from his mouth like a dog.
I laughed before flipping over and back onto his sadle. Once I was settled in, we were inches from the water. He quickly opened his wings, making is skid on the water.
"Good boy" I said rubbing her neck.
He smiled before flying up the cliff and onto the ground. Eragon flopped onto the soft grass and huffed.
"Come on lets get some food." I said as I climbed off his back and walked twords the house.
We lived in a two story house, with three bedrooms, three bathrooms conncted to a room, a living room, kitchen, and a small little library. It was big enough for all three of us and definitely big enough for Eragon.
We walked into the house and into the kitchen opening the fridge and grabbing a bowl of fish and fruit.
"How was your flight, babe?" Nate asked walking into the kitchen and giving me a peck on the cheek.
"Good, Eragon did great on the dive." I anwsered tossing a fish at Eragon.
He caught it and swallowed it in one bite.
"Great, but guess what day it is?" Nate said.
I thought for a moment then tossed Eragon another piece of fish.
"Fishing day" I guessed.
"Nope" he laughed.
"How could you forget your own birthday?" Sky asked as he walked into the kitchen.
"Oh yeah, that. Hip, hip, yeah." I said sarcastically.
"Come on Alex. You may not like it, but we are going to celebrate your birthday." Nate said making a frown appear on my face.
I never liked my birthday, all it dose is remind me I'm old.
