Kovu did as I instructed, grabbed onto something and slowly pulled it out of the water. It took him a few times before the whole thing lifted out of the water. I wasn't able to see what it was, but Eragon immediately hissed at it when he got a wifft of its scent.
"Eel!!" Eragon shouted.
I jumped up and stretched my hand out to the water.
Dragons are deathly scared of eels and they mess with draghon senses all the time. I pulled the eel out of the water and lit it on fire.
"What did you do that for? It was hard to,held that thing up in the air." Kovu shouted.
"That was an eel, dragons hate eels and they can kill a dragon no problem." I exsplanined.
"Sorry" Kovu said as Eragon walked up to me, rubbing his head against my leg.
"That's fine, just let me do the fishing. On our way home I will teach you some other kinds of magic." I said as I waved my hand at the water.
Fish flew up into the air, making both Eragon and Kiura jump up in the air. They flew at the floating fish and ate every single one.
"Does magic not weaken you?" Kovu asked wiping sweat from his for head.
"It does just not as much as it does to you. Your new to using magic and don't have as much training and practice as I do. It weakens you more, but only me if I use multiple spells at once or a spell that's strong or uses a lot of energy." I explained as the dragons finished eating.
We both ate after that in silence, then got ready to ride.
"Sense we don't have a saddle for you, your gonna have to use mine. I'm gonna ride Eragon bear back. Have you ever ridden a horse before?" I asked.
"Year" he answered.
"Okay so you know to grip with your thighs and not with the reins or saddle." I confirmed.
"Correct" he said as I saddled Kiura.
"Good use that on her, but the feeling will be a little different cause your gonna be in the sky. Trust her and do not slip off or try to ride anything but in that saddle." I said.
"Why?" He asked.
"Your still new to all of this. Plus if you die Kiura dies, but if she dies you live a very sad and depressing life." I answered.
