Meeting Him and immediately regretted it

My trip was going good so far,

until....

It broke down. Right on the side of the highway! I was stuck swearing on the side of the road, kicking the car.
A car stopped next to me blasting 'Make The Money' by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

"Make the money
don't let the money make you,
Change the game
don't let the game change you,
I'll forever remain faithful
All my people say true"

Then like a movie, a guy with blonde hair opens the door and walks up to me in slow motion.

"Do you have car trouble?" He says laughing.

"Yeah." I said with a sigh. He walked up to my car and opened the hood looking at it for a second before walking back to his car and pops the trunk. He took tools out and walked over to mine again.

It's been 15 minutes and I was in my car bored to death. Not only that I was cold, it was winter and it was 7:00. He saw me with my knee pulled to my chest. I was just wearing a pastel yellow thin long sleeve shirt and black leggings. He walked up to me and opened the door.

"There's bad news and there is nothing else. What would you like to hear."

"Hmmm, let me think." I waited for a minute then answered "the bad news I guess."

"Well, your car is broken. There's no fixing it."

"No!" I said as I head my head in my hands.

"Just call someone to pick you up." He said with a shrug.

"You don't get it! I don't have anyone. I left for Seattle and now I'm stuck." I said and I started crying.

"Oh." He stood there for a moment before speaking again. "I'm going to Seattle. Um, you want to come with me." He said while rubbing the back of his neck. I looked up for a second and immediately Nodded and jumped up and hugged him, I don't really know why he stiffened for a second before awarding Patting my back.

I soon let go and then started realizing that I was crazy, I was getting in a car with someone I just met and driving for 2 days but there was no other way and he seemed nice. For someone I just met and all...

😁

I packed my stuff and got into his car when he started the engine again Macklemore was still playing. And it was playing for an hour before I talked.

"You really like Macklemore don't you?"

"Yeah! I'm from Seattle, what can I say?" He said with a smile.

"Seattle boy? Hmmm interested never met one of those." I said then we looked at each other and we both broke and we laughed and laughed.

"Never met one of those?! You sound like people from Seattle are like another species!" He said in between laughs.

"Well how would I know that? I've never met one?!" I said laughing again before it all got quiet. Macklemore still playing.

"Okay let me show you some real music." I said and took the auxiliary cord. I plugged in my sucky phone that does happen to have some amazing music. I went through my music till I found 'See You Again' and pressed play.

"It's been a long day with out
you my friend
and I'll tell you all about it
when I see you again
We've come a long way
From where we began
Oh, I'll tell you all about it
when I see you again."

I looked at the boy and realized that I didn't even know his name. He was shaking his head.

"It's to intense, you need something more upbeat." I rolled my eyes but changed it to meet both standards and out on 'Trap Queen' by by Fetty Wap. He looked at me when it started and he smirked telling me that he liked my choice then we both started singing it-

1738
Hey
I was like
hey what's up hello
Seen your pretty ass as you walked through the door
I just want to chill..."

After that song the rest of music played and an hour went by before he spoke.

"I never caught your name." Oh shit, I forgot that, why would I get in this freaking car! Wait... I have nowhere else to go.

"Oh well I'm Emma Havens."

"I'm Caleb Mcclaire." He said while putting his hand across the center console to shake so I shook his hand.

To be clear I picked to have them be the characters before I realized that they were in Taylor's music video together 😂
