"Thanks for th-" (Y/N) started before the taxi sped off in the distance. "Ride." The girl huffed before she took a deep breathe and gathered all her carry-ons and suitcases and ascended up the steps to the entrance of her soon-to-be home. The doorman politely bowed as she approached the rotating doors separating her from the inside of the luxurious apartment complex. As she shuffled inside, a bellhop rushed to her aid with a cart and began stacking her belongings on it. "Thanks." (Y/N) mumbled quietly as she marvelled at the large palace-like place surrounding her. 'I guess being the governors daughter has some ups afterall.',she thought. She soon snapped out of her trance as she heard her name being mentioned. She looked to the bellhop and bowed apologetically. "Pardon me?" She said, rubbing her forearm awkwardly. "Shall I take your belongings to your apartment, Ms. (Y/L/N)?" The man inquired. "Ah, yes please, I'll stay behind and give myself a tour. Thank you!"

As the bellhop turned away to leave, she felt her phone vibrate in the pocket of her black trench coat. Reaching into her pocket and pulling it out, she rolled her eyes and sighed when she saw who the caller was. "Hello, father."
"(Y/N) where are you? Your step mother and I are waiting for you. We were supposed to leave for your new apartment together an hour ago."
(Y/N) pivoted around and walked through the rotating doors and into the brisk, cold December afternoon.
"I decided to get a head start on my own."
"(Y/N), the entire meaning of you being transferred to Iwatobi is for your safety. Don't you think taking a cab is defeating the purpose? Nonetheless alone?
"How will I ever really know if I'm safe if I don't try to be on my own for once?" (Y/N) countered back as she stared longingly at the busy streets of Iwatobi.
"(Y/N) We will speak about this later. For now I'm on call but I'll send Isaac your way."
(Y/N) sighed as she heard the beeping sound signalling the call had ended.
"Love you too, father."

(Y/N) slid her phone back into the deep pockets of her knee length black trench coat and gripped her handbag tightly as she began walking down the crowded street.

(Y/N) looked around in admiration for the town. Soon after some adventuring around town, the sky dimmed and lights glittered everywhere. She headed back to the apartment building, walking slower to take in the beautiful sight before her. She tucked her hair behind her ears and smiled.

She thought, 'Maybe, just maybe, this could be worth it.'

OMG this is so short I'm so sorry-
Ik the boys aren't in it yet but I swear I'll get there. This was just an introduction to get started and explain the situation. Anyways, I hope you like it (even though it crap) and chapter 2 will be out very very soon!
