Leann

Thinking quickly Leann put Kevin behind her before leaping at the intruder. "What do you want?" She hissed looking down at what looked like a dirty boy about her age.

"Whoa! Calm down I was only looking for a place to crash tonight." The boy said with an almost feminine voice. This had caughten her off guard and the boy used the chance to roll them over so that he was on top keeping her pinned beneath him. "Now I'm going to move off of you and then your going to calm the fuck down and get the child out of the closet. Okay?" He asked cautiously looking for any sort of resistance from the girl. Seeing none he got off of her.

As soon as she was free Leann crawled over to the closet and spoke to Kevin in just under a whisper. "Kev. I need you stay calm and come out of the closet. But stay close to me if the man here tries anything I'm taking you and we are gonna run. Got it?" She asked quietly waiting for the slight nod of the boy's head. "Good boy." She said affectionately as she picked him up into her arms and sat him on one of her hips.

"Strip." Leann ordered the stranger who just looked at her strangely. "You heard me. I need to make sure you weren't bitten and I can't do that with all the clothing your wearing." She said waiting for the boy to react.

"You have got to be kidding me." Was all he had said before he began removing clothing starting with his leather jacket. Only when he removed the shirt as well did Leann realise that he was a she.

Staring wide eyed at the girl in front of her she watched as the girl stripped down to nothing but a pair of boxers and her bra. "Is this good enough for you or do I have to take my underwear off to?" The girl asked snapping Leann out if her stupor.

"No your fine." Leann said as calmly as she could manage before setting Kevin down and going over to examine the shivering girl. The closer she got the more time she took in actually looking at the stranger. She had extremely short hair that was cut to look like a spiked pixie cut- it was extremely uneven so she assumed that the stranger did it herself- and her eyes were black with little specks if silver swirled in there. Her hair had been dyed a dark blue at one point but she noticed that the stranger's roots were a light brown color. 'She is actually kind of pretty once you get past her boyish looks.' She thought as an amused smile graced her lips making the stranger scowl.

"This should only take a minute." She reassured the stranger before she got down on her knees to start her inspection from the legs up. The girl's legs were very strong. She could see the muscles under the skin. They were only obvious once you were up close but they were still there. Seeing noting on the hairy legs on the stranger she stood up moving to toned abdomen of the girl. She was starting to notice that this girl would be a dangerous enemy to have. She was muscular all over unlike herself. Even her arms were muscular.

"Ok I'm done." She said after she had finished inspecting the girl. There were a few scratches and bruises marring the girl's body but there were no crawler bites. Though there was a rather large, and bloody scar on her face that ran from her left cheek bone down to her chin. It would probably become infected and fester if it wasn't cleaned. "You can put your cloths back on now."

"You know if you wanted to see me without my cloths on you could of just asked." The stranger said a little provocatively causing her to back up.

"Kevin come here and meet our... Guest." Leann said quickly in an attempt to get the girl to stop.

"Hi lady." Kevin said looking in the direction that Leann had faced him in. Leann hoped that he was only guessing at the girl's gender because he had had to wait until she was practically naked until she found out.

"The man me is Acelyn Black. But you can call me Ace, kid." Ace said yelling her shirt on over her head. "What's your name pretty mama?" She asked Leann who just glowered at her.

"Leann Carter. And this is Kevin." Leann said running her fingers through the boy's hair. "Now did you really have to pick the lock on the door? I swear to God that if you broke the lock I'm going to murder you." She warned. "We would of just unlocked the door and let you in had you explained yourself."

"Would you have opened the door?" Ace asked and seeing that Leann didn't answer she continued. "See. I know how people are now. I haven't survived this long because of other people'a kindness. In fact if you didn't have the kid I would of probably have killed you by now." She said nonchalantly buttoning her pants. Her jacket was hanging on her arm but she didn't make a move to put it on.

Leann watched Ace as she went looking around the house never actually entering a room but just looking in. She didn't relax until their 'guest' decided to sit on the dusty couch in the living room.

"Kevin sit in here with Ace while I go get the first aid kit." Leann said leading the boy over to the couch to sit next to the girl.

"Why whose hurt?" The boy asked curiously holding into Leann's hand until she answered him.

"Acelyn has a cut on her face that needs to be cleaned. That's all baby boy." She crooned before kissing the boy's forehead, and turned away to find the first aid kit in the bathroom.

"Can I touch your face?" She heard Kevin ask before their conversation was muffled by the hallway walls.
