(A/N) Hey everyone! So I just want you all to know that this is not going to be like your ordinary fanfic where Harry meets a girl, the girl meets Harry, they become friends and then fall in love instantly. I am really putting in so much work into this book to make it perfect because I believe it is truely a good story line. If all you wanted to read were a few chapters of Harry hitting on a girl and the girl playing hard to get, I'm sorry but this is not your story. I want this to be as close to a real book as possible and if you're willing to read as it goes on then thank you :) xx - Chloe

Anne POV

I slouched down in my arm chair, cradling the small sleeping baby in my arms. Harry was already turning 2 years old tomorrow and I was so shocked to see how much he'd really grown.

The boy was already growing out long locks of hair and getting more and more hyper by the day.

I swear, if it wasnt for the cat meowing on the top of her lungs yesterday, Harry would have crawled right over the edge of the bloody table. That boy, I can already tell he's going to be a handful when he's older.

I bent my head down closer to his tiny one and kissed him gently on the forehead. He must have noticed his mummy was near, because the second my lips fell on his soft baby skin I noticed his lips curve up in a sleepy smile.

My arms tightened around him protectively as I stood up from my chair.

Dusty our cat ran past my legs, running towards the door. Figured, it had been a while since we'd let her out.

I made my way over, holding Harry close to my chest. As I was just about to open the door, the bell rang - revealing our next door neighbour, Millie.

She held her strong and cheerful smile on her face, although the bags under neath her eyes had some what deepened since I'd seen her last. My gaze tilted from hers and to the purple coloured blanket she was rocking back and forth.

A smile knitted on my lips as I couldnt help but get a look at her beautiful baby daughter.

Tessa.

Her and Harry were born on the same day coincidentally. Feburary 1st. Except Harry was born 2 hours before Tessa was and I figured that was something he would teasingly use agaisnt her when they grew up.

I nodded for her to come inside. Millie has been my friend since high school, and her husband was best friends with mine. In other words, we go way back. And thats what we planned on doing for our children. We wanted Harry and Tessa to grow up together as well, we wanted them to feel just as close as I did with Millie and their fathers.

"So how's little Harry feeling?" Millie asked, shuffling over to the living room. I followed next to her and took a seat at her side.

I grinned down at Harry who had just released a wide yawn, opening his precious sea green eyes for the world to see.

"Thats imposible," Millie sounded astonished. "It's like he's trippled in size since I'd seen him last! Are you giving him some sort of super baby formula I should know about?"

I laughed, tossing my head back in pleasure. Being able to raise a baby with your best friend at the same time was the greatest thing in the world. We shared tips and advice. Diapers and toys. And best of all, the chance to watch our children grow up together.

"Can you believe they're turning two years tomorrow?" I shook my head in disbelief.

"I honestly cant." Mille shook her head as well, smiling down as Harry released yet another baby yawn.

"We should do something together!" Millie exclaimed excitedly. "I mean, they are born on the same day."

I nodded, smiling widly over at her.

"Thats a wonderful idea, Millie!" I squeaked, moving over to the side a bit so I could put Harry down in his crib.

She rocked Tessa in her arms for a bit longer until I noticed her arms must have been getting tired.

I looked around the room for a place for her to put Tessa, when I glanced down at Harry's enormous crib.

"You can put Tessa down with Harry." I suggested, pointing over where the cot was.

She smiled down at me and went over to the baby bed. I followed.

Harry had waken up due to the loud squeaking of the living room floor. Millie bent over and gingerly placed Tessa right down next to Harry. And unlike Harry, Tessa was fast asleep. Her head slomped down on the matress and didnt even move.

Millie sat back up and leaned against the cot.

"I cant believe she's fallen asleep." She gawked, shaking her head. "I've tried everything all day to get her to sleep and I come here and she just nods off?"

I chuckle quietly, covering my mouth to make the least noise as possible.

Harry was fidgeting in his spot again, almost as if he knew he no longer had all the space in his bed for himself. Which he clearly did not enjoy.

I snatched him up once more before he could through crying fit. Millie offered to take Tessa out but that would be counter-productive.

"She's sleeping, Millie. Let her sleep."

***

After a few hours of sipping on tea with Millie, something odd happened.

Both Harry and Tessa began to cry at the same time.

We both exchanged nervous glances until we jogged over into the living room and both our expressions softened.

They werent crying, they were laughing.

Once Harry had fallen asleep in my arms I put him back in his cot with Tessa, and now that they were both well rested, they were full of energy.

As we looked down at them we noticed that Harry and Tessa had suspiciously switched spots.

I rose an eyebrow at Millie strangely, and when I looked down at Harry I could have almost sworn I saw him wink at me.

"Thats, weird." Millie suggested, releasing a slight chuckle.

I released one as well, scooping up my baby from the cot.

We brought them back in to the play room and put them down on the padded floor. Harry zoomed off across the room and started playing with his toys. Meanwhile, Tessa was still a weak crawler so she stayed put on her bum.

"Any suggestions for tomorrow, then?" She asked, finishing off the last drop of her earl tea in her mugg.

I took a sip of mine as well and tried to think of something fun. They were only babies anyways, they wouldnt know the difference between having fun and staying in bed all day.

Just wait until he's older and he's going to want to go sky diving or some sort. The voice in the back of my head taunted me.

"What about a costume party?" I suggested, giggling at all the fun things I could dress Harry up as.

Millie thought about it, then grinned at me.

"That sounds like so much fun!" She yelped hapily. "We can go costume shopping today. Or tomorrow, today I have to go talk to a Early Years teacher for school advice."

My head slung up.

"Hold on." I held my hands up, motioning her to slow down all though she wasnt doing anything.

"What if Harry and Tessa went to the same Early Years?" I watched as her eyes widened, realising the gran idea I had just come up with.

"Anne, you are a genius! This way they see eachother even more."

And thats how it happened I guess. Harry and Tessa were both signed up on the waiting list for Early Years that would start two years from now. And then primary school and then upper school.

And, well I think you get the idea.
