What came the next day

NICKS POV
" what do you mean Cookie? "
" don't act all innocent, Nick. I trusted you, I loved you, and now you go and do this to me!?" Brooke said.
This wasn't meant to happen... She wasn't meant to find out.
" It was a mistake. "
"I think should should go... " she said as I tried to explain
As I exited the room, I could hear the tears rushing out of her. She hasn't done anything wrong, and I need to prove that to her.

BROOKES POV
The next day as I approached my locker, Nick was standing there in the distance with something in his hand. I tried to turn around but he stopped me before I got the chance.
" Cookie, please just, let me explain. " he said with sorrow in his voice
No, I can't go on like this. We're done.
I rushed away, trying to hold back the tears, but I couldn't anymore, so I bolted to the bathrooms where I spent 1st and 2nd period crying. I wasn't ready to talk, or see anyone. I was a mess and no one even knew how this impacted the last 4 weeks of my life.
PAIGES POV
Brooke came home early today. Her face was red, like she was crying. She's been different lately, and it's scaring me. I feel like she's planning something harmful and I can't let her go.
I walked slowly up to Brookes door only to hear her sobbing into her pillow. I began opening the door and she dint seem to notice. I walked and sat on the edge of her bed as she looked up into my eyes and began to cry again. I snugged in close to her. And for the whole time I was there, we never said a word.
