6 years later

Relena was playing with her dolls in her bedroom, until she heard some weird noises.
She stopped playing and go to where the noises came from.
Closer and closer and the noises turned into voices. At one time, she stopped at a door. The voices came out of Hans' room:  'You're a failure! Why can't you do anything right?' It was the King speaking. 'I-I did what you said, b-but' 'Stop speaking! You're a shame of the family!"

After a few minutes it stopped and Relena ran back to her own room, because she didn't want to get caught. When she noticed the King was gone, she slowly went to Hans.
Relena arrived at the door and lay an ear on it. She heard him crying. 'Hansie? Are you in there?'
'Re-Relena? Yes I-Iam here. Come in', Hans sniffed.
'Hansie, are you okay? Why was father so angry with you?' Relena looked at him with big eyes, but they were a bit filled with tears. 'You don't deserve this, big brother'. She hugged him very tight.

Hans felt a great and warm feeling inside. After years of being treaten very bad by his parents and older brothers, for the first time there was a person who really cared about him. And to make it even more special: it was his little sister. From the very beginning he knew Relena would be kind and sweet. That makes this moment even more great for him.
'Relena, I don't know why father is so upset and why he does these things. But let me tell you this: together we can get through everything. Okay?'
Ofcourse he knew why the King was so upset, but he couldn't get it over his heart to break Relena's heart. 'Okay, Hansie'.
She gave him a last hug before she went back to her own room and go to sleep.
Hans sat on his bed, thinking back at the words the King said and he began to cry, but at the same moment he felt relief, because he knew that he wasn't alone anymore.
