But first, we go back to the very beginning of Relena.
The Queen just gave birth to a beautiful daughter. Although, that's what the staff told them, but she wasn't happy at all. Neither the King was. They were expecting a boy, like all the other 13 sons they have.
'It's a..girl' said the King disappointed. 'Why is it a girl?' 'I don't know', the Queen said,' maybe a work of the Devil? But we didn't do anything wrong, did we?' 'No, my dear, we didn't'
They didn't knew that little Hans was standing at the door listening to them. Ofcourse you did something wrong. Ofcourse you don't want to see it. Because I'm just the shame of the family. Not worth to be seen.'Well, at least we gave birth to a child, so we have to give her a name',the Queen sighed. 'Do we really have to name that kid?' asked the King surprised. The Queen sighed again,'Well yes, at least it's still our kid'. One of the staffmembers in the room ofcourse heard their conversation. After some thinking, that same member came up with a name: 'How about Relena, your majesty?'. First, the King and Queen didn't seem very happy with the suggestion of the staffmember, but then the Queen said: 'Well, at least it's a name. So this kid will be named Relena'.
Hans, still listening and standing by the door, was happy with Relena. Not only because she was his first sister, but he knew that Relena won't treat him like his brothers and parents do, but she also will grow up as a beautiful and lovely princess.
Hans went back to his own room, with a small, but happy smile.
Welcome to the family, Relena.
