I closed my eyes and I could feel an arm holding me tight. "Anong nangyari?" It was undeniable that I felt I was hit, pero di ako nakaramdam ng sakit. I opened my eyes carefully. "Are you alright? Are you hurt at all?" Yohann asked. How? Prinotektahan ba nya ako? "Di ba gusto mo kong patayin? Bakit mo pa ako niligtas?" Hindi na nya ako sinagot, bagkus binuhat nya ako at nakarinig ako ng malakas na pagaspas ng malaking pakpak. Lilipad ba kami? What the fuck?! Narinig ko ang pagsigaw nila Isaiah at Stephen pero nakalipad na kami ni Yohann. Ano to?! Andaming paniki! Colony of bats came to us and shrouded us with their shadow and we disappeared from the scene.
Night falls and we left the underground tunnels. Napakaganda ng view dito sa taas pero mahuhulog ako. Eto na ba yon?! Is death going to embrace me na ba? Lalong humigpit ang hawak ko kay Yohann but he moaned in pain. "You must be in pain! I'm so sorry." I blinked when I realized what I've just said. Did I just apologized?! "Hold on tight." Sabi nya saken.
We arrived in an abandoned station. Hinatak nya ako papasok. Part parin ba to ng subway? Pero mukha syang kastilyo. "Can't you hear me?" napalingon ako kay Yohann. "Get inside!" I nodded. Sheez. Keep your hair on! I hurried myself inside while Yohann had his back on me. He muttered something I don't understand. A spell? He collapsed as he finished chanting the spell. Napatakbo ako papunta sa kanya. He looks paler than before. Hindi sya gumagalaw. Kelangan ko nang makatakas. Tama! I grabbed the door knob quickly. Bat di mabukas?! "AHHHHH!" Nananakit ung kamay ko. It must've got something to do with the very first spell he casted on me. "Napakaiksi nitong chain na to. Imposibleng makakilos ako ng ganito kaikli to." I tried my luck with my phone. "Oh no! Not now!" Nalowbatt pa. Npabuntong hininga nalang ako.
Sino ka ba, Yohann? Sabi mo papatayin mo ko, yet you saved me numerous times from harm. Why did you take me here? Is it because he has pity on me? I pried my collar open and observed closely. "Ano to?! White flower?" A familiar symbol is engraved onto my chest. Parang ito ung nga bulaklak sa panaginip ko. "Eto un! Ung bulaklak sa panaginip ko!" Tinry kong tanggalin pero no luck. The seven white petals extended from my collar to my chest.
Kelangan ko nang gamutin si Yohann. Saka ko nalang iisipin tong bulaklak na to. Ang lalim ng mga sugat nya. "Hold still." Sabi ko sa kanya. Nilagyan ko ng alchohol ung bulak saka nagsimula. This is not good enough. Andami nyang sugat. Binuksan ko ung damit nya at hindi ako makapaniwala sa nakita ko.
Ano tong nasa dibdib nya? A crimson flower? Pula lang ung kanya pero sure ako na pareho kami. "Why does a vampire have the same thing that appeared on my chest?" Bigla kong naalala ung sinabe sakin ni Yohann kanina. Kung tama ang naaalala ko, tinawag nya akong Maiden of Lyrrin. Eto ba ung seal ba sinasabi nya? "Yes, I am sure there must be some sort of relationship between Yohann and the flower." He moaned again. Gising na ba sya? All of a sudden, Yohann whimpered as he reached his hand towards my face. Agad kong iniwas ang mukha ko. "Rie." Nananaginip ba sya? Sino o ano ung Rie?
