Dark trails,
Light fades.
Flapping tails,
This facade.
What could it mean?
I feel like a jumping bean,
Trying to escape.
I'm afraid my dearest fate is too late,
The thorns that have been grown.
The roses that have been burned,
Have been turned into a crown.
My stomach churns.
My heart beat,
It's slowing down.
The beast,
Within is trying to drown.
The melodies of the sirens inching closer,
Hum to me before I close my eyes forever.
Ever so gently and ever so softly,
My mind starts to drift.
My eyes slowly start closing,
My sorrow is over.
My pain is gone,
My body is numb.
My blood has been spilled,
My free spirit will roam around the people I care about,
But will haunt the ones who betrayed me.
My body will burn,
Within the coffin.
My soul will return,
And I will be reborn.
