KATNISS POV
I woke up in my bed I was so so tired I heard prims door going open and closing I heard her walking to my room she makes the door open and she walked in my room
Prim :" Katniss are you awake. "
Katniss : " Uh yes. "
Prim : " well I'm sorry to wake you up but I had a nightmare. "
Katniss : " What about. "
Prim : " that I was in the hunger games again. "
Katniss : " Prim you survived it its not gonna happen again. "
Prim : " do you promise Katniss. "
Katniss : " Yes I promise. "
Prim : " well can I stay with you. "
Katniss : " Sure you can. "
Prim got in my bed and crawled to me and putted her arms around me and got a smile on her face.
Katniss : " This is the first time again I see your beautiful smile. "
Prim : " thank you katniss and I'm so happy that you're my big sister. "
Katniss : "and I'm happy you're my little sister and that I'm the one who will protect you. "
Prim : thank you katniss. "
Today it was prims birthday she loved her birthday but not because of the presents but the people who came Rue. Her best friend she had when she was on middle school the doorbell ringed I opened the door but it was not Rue. It was Effie Trinket.
Effie : " We want to interview our birthday girl. "
Katniss : " Sorry but she doesn't want to talk. "
Effie : " well where sorry maybe another time.
Katniss : " well no. "
I closed the door the doorbell ringed again I opened up it was Rue.
Katniss : " Hey Rue come in Prim is on the cough. "
Rue : " thank you miss Everdeen. "
She walked away I got tears in my eyes.
