chapter 3: romance scene

The rest of that day was preparing for the attack. Amy wasn’t very happy at all. She expected Sonic’s plan was going to be fun, like some kind of party to thank everyone for working so hard. Although it would be good to wake up tomorrow and not have to worry about Eggman attacking unexpectingly and maybe killing someone. No, I will wake up tomorrow and be able to hang out with Sonic and have fun, something we barely ever have, thought Amy.

 Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy were all in some kind of outdoors gym, the ground was brown and there where obstacles and weights and other things dotted around. There was a fence going down one side of the outdoor gym and along that were tyres. Amy was sitting on one of the tyres. Knuckles was lifting weights, Tails was on a bench studying his new invention, and Sonic was on a treadmill, he was pretty bored, because he was too fast for the treadmill. Then he noticed that Amy was bored too, so he turned off the treadmill and walked over to Amy.

 “Hey Amy, I see that you are bored too.” Sonic said as he arrived next to her.

 “Hi sonic, why do we have to train? We attack Eggman millions of times and we always win, and plus, this time we’ll catch him by surprise this time, so why are we wasting our time?” Amy asked.

 “You know what, I was saving this for tomorrow, but why not do it know?”Sonic asked “Hey Tails is it all right if I and Amy leave for a bit?”

 “Yeah, ok, but be back soon.” Tails called out to Sonic.

Eggmans Fortress

“Ha Ha Ha, I’ve finally done it, I am now prepared to take on Sonic, and win!” Robotnic cackled. “My new invention will send out a noise that’s so loud that an average human can’t and won’t hear it, but hedgehogs and most other animals will, but the sound is so powerful it will make their eardrums explode! Then while they are vulnerable and in intense pain, I can do what I need to defeat them!” Eggman finished.

Green Hill Zone

Sonic and Amy were walking through green hill zone talking.

 “So, I guess you’re my girlfriend now.” Sonic said. “Wow, you’re the first person I’ve ever wanted to go out with, although Sally has always had a crush on me too.”

 “I’ve always hated Sally’s guts, she a right bitch!” Amy replied.

“Anyway, now that I have a girlfriend there’s so much more that I can/ should do, and I apologise, but I’m not very good at this romance stuff.” Sonic told Amy.

 “It’s ok, you may find this surprising, but me too, you’re the first person I’ve gone out with and I’m not very good at romance either.” Amy answered back.

 “Really?” asked Sonic.

 “It did take me all these years to get you to go out with me, didn’t it?” Amy asked rhetorically.

 “Didn’t think of that.” Sonic admitted.

“Well, what do we do now?” Amy asked.

  “Amy, will you move in with me?”

Eggman was very pleased with himself for thinking of everything. He made everything seem more or less the same as it should, so Sonic really did think he wasn’t expecting an attack from the blue hedgehog.

 “Yes, there’s no way that damn hedgehog will see this coming!”

“Yes, I will move in with you Sonic!” Amy answered very happily.

“Oh, would you look at the time” Sonic looked at his watch.”It’s almost time for us to attack Eggmans fortress, we’ll talk about you moving in with me later when this is done, but for now, lets go!”
