The Hunt

Emma's POV

It was the day after me and Xander's date, and we haven't talked since he dropped me off at my cabin. I'm getting ready in the cabin and Lou asked, "So... What happened with you and Xander last night?" I just tried to stay calm and say that nothing happened, But then Xander walked in. I just sat there and looked back and forth between them.

Xander's POV
  Emma just sat there and stared at me and Lou when I walked in. I had gone to see if Emma wanted to talk about last night. "Um." I hear come from Emma's mouth. Then I saw that Lou was smiling and looking at me and Emma. "What did I do this time." I said. "I don't know... What did you do?"  Lou said with a big smile.

Emma's POV
  "Um... Nothing... Nothing happened on our date." I finally said. Lou doesn't believe me though. Soon we heard Gladis yell, "All campers, CITs, and Councilors get out here!!" We all quickly ran out. "Today we will be doing a scavenger hunt. The Grizzles and Woodchucks are teaming up since they have less members." I look at Xander and want to talk to him but I'm to nervous. "... Hey..." I said quietly with a huge smile. "Hey, ready to win!" He said in his normal ecstatic voice. "Ye-"
"Here is the list you will need, and the CITs will act like the councilor today."

Xander's POV
  We grabbed the list and started. I still dont know why Emma didn't tell Lou about our kiss though. Me and Emma glance at each other alote but don't talk much and when we're alone and I go to talk we both try talking at then same time. "Why is it awkward to talk about the kiss?" I finally asked. "I don't know... Maybe you aren't supposed to talk about it and just let it happen?" she said.

Emma's POV
  We talked and last for a while and found 4 of the 10 things need to be found. Then we met up with Zuri, Tiffany, and Lou. They had found 4 also but we new that the last to had to have be found by Hazel she helped hide all the stuff. And she's part of the competition, now thats just cheating but we got to an area before her. It had 2 things then me and Xander ran off and found 4 more while Zuri, Tiffany, and Lou got 2 more. "We totally won!" I yelled ecstatic. We ran up and gave them to Gladis and she blew a air horn. "ALL ITEMS HAVE BEEN FOUND HAZEL'S TEAM BROUGHT TWO BACK AND LOU/XANDER'S GROUP BROUGHT EIGHT BACK!!!Woodchucks/Grizzles win!!!" We all jump up and hug each other. Lou Zuri and Tiffany all huged each other. But me and Xander just looked in each others eyes and sat there holding hands. Lou noticed and got a big smile on her face. Xander started to lean in and I my head I was like, "Are we ready to go public? I don't know but we are." then we kissed it was long but we both could hear Lou. "OOO, you go Emma!" we both smiled and chuckled in the the kiss.
