Oliver had been up all night, didn't go in for work, and hasn't been answering anybody's calls. He preferred to stay in the cave all night, not wanting to give up on his search for wherever you went with that Matt Black guy.
He managed to pull some records using the license on his motorcycle. Matt Black has been arrested for countless murders, only to be ruled as not guilty, and thievery. He was a bad influence, a bad guy, and he wanted you nowhere near him.
"Oliver?" It was Felicity's voice that pulled him out of the screen his nose seemed to be glued to. "Have you been here all night?"
He turned around in the office chair and looked at Felicity, then at Diggle. "I'm the reason she's searching for trouble. She thinks that... She thinks that I'm cheating on her." He turned back to look at the computer, Felicity and Diggle walking to join him at his side. "This Matt Black kid has been friends with Y/N in high school, but has distance himself away from her after graduation."
It was easy to get the information once he knew who he was looking for. The license plate was registered under Matt's father's name - must have stolen the Harley from his own father - and his father easily gave up his son's name, says he was a disgrace to the Black name.
"He's been arrested for countless thievery and murders, but was sentenced not guilty." Oliver sighed and ran a hand over his face in annoyance. "This guy's dangerous and Y/N willingly got on the back of his motorcycle."
"She probably doesn't know that stuff, Oliver," Diggle assured him. "I mean, she doesn't have access to the stuff you do to look, like a Face Recognizer, which you're using to track them down. I mean, this guy's her best friend from high school, she's obviously going to trust him without questioning it."
"Her brother's dead." It slipped from his mouth and he was quite aware it had nothing to do with Matt Black. Still, he slammed a hand on the table in front of him and stood up. "Her brother's dead and I didn't even know it. I wasn't there for her when I should have been, like she has always been there for me. I failed her... and now she's going to suffer the consequences of my mistakes."
"What are you going to do?" Felicity asked.
"Find them," Oliver said, turning around to look at Diggle and Felicity. "And, once I have her, I'm going to tell her the truth."
"The truth truth?" Diggle questioned.
He nodded. "I'm going to tell her I'm the Hood."

The motorcycle was giving you the adrenaline you seemed to seek, the adrenaline that seemed to suppress the feelings of missing your brother and Oliver's lies. It was exhilarating, fun, something Oliver ceases to do. He'd never take you on his motorcycle for "safety reasons".
But, eventually, the ride had to come to an end.
You tugged off the helmet after hopping off the black Harley, a smile wide on your face. "That was great, Matt," you said, laughing a little as you set the helmet on the backseat. "Thanks for coming when I called. I wouldn't of made a dramatic exit if you hadn't."
He pulled his helmet off as well, but didn't get off the bike. "Glad to be of service," he responded with a grin.
You turned around, taking in your surroundings, to find that you're in front of an old abandoned house, a house that looked too familiar. "This is your house," you said, "from high school. Are...Are you still living here?"
He sighed and got off the bike, setting the helmet down on top of it as well. "Yeah, unfortunately," he sighed. "After my father's death, I didn't know what to do with it. I couldn't sell it, nobody wanted to live in it, and I couldn't bring myself to destroy it, my father loved this house too much for me to just burn it down."
