2. The Girls

I don't know if it's good or not so I need feedback! Ok here's the story! This is dedicated to my home gurls Doodles (its a nickname) because she was my first fan!

Charlotte's POV

So about my friends...

FLASHBACK

I had just gotten out of the car when 4 girls came running up to me, "Hi! My name is Taylor," one girl said pointing to herself, then pointing to the others she said, "This is Angela, Cameron, and Isabella!" The other girls waved and I waved back. Then Cameron said to me, "Call me Cam, we call Taylor Tay, Angela Angie, and Isabella likes to be called Bella. She's just to shy to say anything. Once you get to know her she won't be anymore. What's your name?" "My name is Charlotte," I answered. Then the girl whose name was Angela exclaimed, "Woah! What accent is that? It Kind of sounds like Bella's!" "My accent is German, Irish, and British," I replied. "I'm Irish too," Bella said to me. I could definitely hear the Irish in her voice. "I can tell," I said to her, " I lived there for 5 years." Then Cam spoke up again, "So do you have a nickname?" I thought about saying May, but I couldn't bring myself to do it, so I said, "No I don't, can you think of one?" Taylor then said, "How about Charlie. You don't look super girly so I think it would suit you." The rest of the girls agreed with her and so did I. "So Charlie, it is!" Angie exclaimed. When we walked up to the front door of my new house I saw a huge banner that said, 'Welcome to the neighborhood!' hanging above the door with balloons on the side. I grinned, "Did you guys do this?" "Yeah!" they chorused. Taylor then exclaimed, "Oh my gosh! I totally forgot! My mom said to invite you and your family over for dinner at my house tonight. All of our families will be there." "I'll go ask my mom!" I said then ran off to find her.

We went to their house and we all had a great time. Everyone was lovely and by the end of the night, we were all best friends. Cam and I were definitely the closest because we had so much in common. She also played guitar like me, but she played bass, I played acoustic. Taylor played drums, Bella played Piano, and Angie played electric guitar. We were all really good singers too, except for me. I was not good at all! They told me I was but I didn't believe them. We thought we would do pretty well as a band. They decided that Cam and I would have the most solos but they were all so much better than me! The next problem we faced was the name.

"What about the kitty cats," Cam said smirking. Always a joker that one. "Oh, haha..." Angie said back to her. We had been sitting on the bean bags in Angie's house for an hour thinking of names for our band but we just couldn't think of anything. I leaned back and grabbed my smoothie off the table. I sucked on it but nothing was coming out. "Arg! I have strawberry lumps stuck in my straw!" I half yelled. "That's it! Charlie you're a genious!" Taylor exclaimed while jumping up and down. "Strawberry lumps?" Cam asked confused. "No silly! Stuck in my straw!" Tay replied back to her with a look that says, 'Duh!' "I like it!" Bella said happily, we all nodded our heads in agreement. "Okay! That settles it then! We should do a song!" Cam said happily. "I write songs, maybe we could use one of them?" I asked nervously. They stared at me and instantly felt stupid for saying that. "THAT'S SO COOL!" Taylor screamed extremely loudly. "Really? I don't think they are very cool but I wrote one on the plane from London." I said awkwardly. "Sing it!" Bella said excitedly. "Okay, let me grab my guitar." I grabbed and started playing:
