Six friends. All of them are girls, and they love adventuring. One day, Jacqueline and Violet were chatting in Violet's house. They were sitting on Violet's bed and were drinking some juice.

"Hey. You want to go shopping with me later? It would be really fun! We could invite the others." suggested Violet.

Jacqueline nodded her head. "I do need to go shopping. Sometimes I realize that I don't actually have anything to wear."

Violet took her nail polish which was in the colour of violet and started applying it on her fingers. Jacqueline took her drink and took a sip.

"Dude. Have you bought The Maze Runner series yet? Its really awesome." said Jacqueline. Violet nodded her head.

"Have you read it yet?" asked Jacqueline, hoping Violet would say something. "Yup. It was awesome. I love it so much."

Jacqueline raised her eyebrow. "Really?" Violet looked away from her nails and stared at Jacqueline. "What? You don't trust me? Just because I don't seem like I read in school doesn't mean I don't read any books ya know. For prove, you can go see my bookcase over there. It has the Maze Runner series."

Jacqueline shrugged and went to her bookcase. She stared at the bookcase for a while and took out The Maze Runner series. She took the second book out; The Scorch Trials.

She placed the rest of the books back on the bookcase and went back on her spot on Violet's bed.

She started to read it. Violet blew her nails and stared at it for a while. "Do you think my nails are nice?" Jacqueline groaned and looked at Violet's nails.

"Ya. Awesome." She quickly went back to reading. Violet rolled her eyes and stared at the book cover.

"I know you hate it when people interrupt you while you are reading and all but could you just tell me the truth? Please." Jacqueline sighed and put the book down.

She took a sip out of her drink and nodded her head. "Ya. It is wonderful." Violet blew her nails again and lied down on her bed.

Just as Jacqueline was about to say something, her phone rang. Jacqueline searched the whole room for her phone. When she found it, she answered the call.

"Hello?" Jacqueline said as politely as she could. She sat back down on the bed. "What? When?" her eyes grew wide as she realized what the person was saying.

Jacqueline nodded her head and said, "Yes auntie. We will look everywhere for her. Yes. Mm. Ya. We will call you when we find her. Yes. Ok. Bye auntie. Don't worry."

As she hang up, Violet sat up and stared at Jacqueline. "Why? What happened?" Jacqueline sighed and started to talk.

"That was Range's mom. She said that Range is gone. And I am scared she might be lost and never come back." she said. Violet's eyes grew wide. She looked stunned.

She sat there, thinking of what to say. "I am sure we will find her. Don't worry."

Jacqueline rested her head on Violet's shoulder. "I hope." They sat there in silence for a while.

Finally, Violet stood up and went to her bathroom. Jacqueline sat there, waiting for Violet to finish. Violet came out and took her brush.

She started combing her hair. Jacqueline smiled. "You are such a beauty queen."

Jacqueline took her phone and started dialing a number. Violet noticed and put her brush down. "Who are you calling?" Jacqueline didn't answer as she was to tired to talk. Violet nudged Jacqueline. "Talk." Jacqueline sighed and showed her the number she was dialing.

Violet nodded her head as she understand what Jacqueline is doing. Jacqueline pressed the call button. "Hello?" said Jacqueline. The other person on the line screamed 'omg!' Jacqueline pulled the phone away as she winced.

She decided to put it on loud speaker. The screaming softened. Then a voice spoke. "Hey girlfriend! So happy ya called! How you doing?" Violet rolled her eyes. 'Typical Angelina' thought Violet. Jacqueline chuckled and answered. "I'm fine. How are you? I am at Violet's house now."

"I'm fine. What are you doing all the way over there?"

"Well, I just came here to visit her and suddenly Range's mom called. She said that uh Range is kinda lost in a cave I guess?"

Violet sighed. She took her book and put it back on the bookcase. There was silence on the other line.

"Uh...ok. Since when was she lost?" asked Angelina. "Since yesterday. I can't believe I didn't notice she was gone." exclaimed Jacqueline.

The call ended and all. (Quick authors note: Sorry. To lazy to write what happened on the call. So basically Angelina agreed to go and help search. Jacqueline called the rest of the group and they also agreed to help.)

"Can we please don't start the search today? I mean I'm too tired and you said she was in this big cave. What if there is a lot of tunnels? What if we get lost? What if we get stuck in that cave and who knows what would-"

"Stop with the what ifs ok? I am sure we are going to find her. So quit your ranting and we could discuss what to do." said Jacqueline. Sarina got angry because she hates getting interrupted and scolded.

Violet and Angelina rolled their eyes. "Guys, I mean she is right. What if we can't find her? There might be thousands of tunnels!!!" groaned Belinda.

"Guys, we are living in the 21st century. We should be able to locate her with our phones." said Violet suddenly.

Everyone stared at her for a moment. "That is actually a pretty good idea. But, what if her phone is dead? And she doesn't like to have her location on!" said Jacqueline. "Ya, that's true." said Sarina. The rest of the girls nodded in agreement.

"Well, Jacqueline, you know where the cave's located at? Guess we need to use the long way to find Range; looking through all the tunnels." said Violet. The girls groaned, but was also excited for an adventure.

"Where is she?" asked Angelina. "Last time she texted me, she's in the Three Counties System located in Yorkshire Dales. Apparently she is on a camping trip alone." replied Jacqueline.

"Guys, its getting dark." pointed out Sarina. Everyone looked at their watches. "Right. Then we shall just head back home and start the search tomorrow." said Belinda.

"So...tomorrow I will be bringing a small bag with food and water. We can't bring our phones because we can't charge it in the cave." said Jacqueline.

"My dad is an expert in outdoor activities. I'll ask him to give some tips and what to bring for this adventure." concluded Belinda.

"But we need to fly to UK! And we need the money for the tickets. Plus, we need a really sappy farewell before we leave." said Sarina, rolling her eyes. "Yeah! Sappy moms." fake whined Violet.

"Guess we need to convince our parents to let us go to UK. Tell them the truth." muttered Angelina.

"I'm an expert at convincing my parents! But this wouldn't need convincing. Our parents will understand that Range needs help. Hopefully they won't follow us. After all we are 18." said Belinda.

"Meet tomorrow in the afternoon at Starbucks in the airport near my house? We are paying for our own tickets, by the way." added Sarina.

"Bye, girls. See you guys tomorrow, yeah?" said Angelina, grabbing her backpack. "Yeah, bye!" replied Jacqueline. The girls walked off in different directions back to their homes.
