Together At Last (Yu X Mika)

Trust Him chapter 7

Everyone left the abandoned building. Mika and Yu stayed beside each other but was silent the whole time. Yu was in deep thought wondering when he should tell his friends he's no longer human. Then again ten percent of himself wasn't human. He wondered though what was that ten percent and does he still have that little part inside of him even though he's a vampire now. Mika looks at Yu concerned."What's wrong Yu-chan?.." Yu looks at him and puts on a smile."Its nothing much..I'll tell you about it later.." Mika was still concerned and didn't feel at ease. Mika sighed nodding." Alright then.." Mika says as he slipped his hand into Yu's. Yu blushed intertwining his hand with Mika's.

Yu felt safe and happy feeling the warmth of Mika's hand. Shinoa was walking behind Mika and Yu. She smirked at this adorable sight and pulled out her camera to take a quick picture of the two lovebirds. Shinoa quickly took the picture stealthy without the two noticing. Mika had acute senses and gave a deadly glare to Shinoa"Human....did you just snap a picture of us?..." Mika growled a little. Shinoa giggled." No need to get so fussy Mika-san. I thought I'd preserve the memory of you to holding hands~" Shinoa winked sticking out her tongue playfully.

Yu blushed deeply and let go of Mika's hand and glared at her."D-Don't go taken pics of us!..i-i'd rather it was either me or Mika that did that!" Shinoa chuckled with a sinister face."Awww~ Yu-san~ your so cute all flustered~" Yu twitched his eye and was about ready to draw his sword."Shinoa I swear I will rip up your camera right here and now.." Shinoa smiled a sweet innocent smile."hehe I think not Yu-san~...-" Suddenly the four horsemen of john appeared out of nowhere from behind the buildings of the ruined city. There were three of them. Shinoa took out her scythe. "Everyone get ready to fight!" She ordered. Everyone drew there weapons and spread up into little groups to take down the monsters.

Mika took down one with a single strike. Yu didn't get the chance to land a single hit. All the others took down the other two. Yu sighed." Come on!...now I feel useless.." Yu crouches down on the ground and pouts. Mika crouches beside him rubbing his back" there there now Yu-chan.. At least your not hurt." Yu lowered his head."I just wanted to kill at least one..." Mika sighed and ruffled Yu's hair."Next time you can kill one.." Yu lifts his head back up and stands back up."Ok sounds good to me!" Yu smirked widely. Mika also stood back up and smiled a bit. "Good grief Yu..your as stubborn as ever.." Yu nodded."Hell yea I am!" Mika laughed a little but tried to hide it."Idiot..your still the same idiot I remember.. Haha..But your my idiot." Yu was flustered again and shrugged."Yea so what if I'm a idiot..your an idiot to Mika.."

Shinoa looked at the two of them."Come on you love birds! We still need to find Shinya Hiragi and his squad!" Yu furrowed his brows."Yea yea ok were comin!.." Yu reached out his hand to Mika."Lets go Mika!" Mika gave a small smile and nodded."Ok Yu-chan." Mika placed his hand in Yu's and held it. Yu walked with Mika back to the group. Everyone walked together heading towards the direction of where the battle took place. The battle field was covered with corpses of both enemies and blood everywhere. Weapons scattered throughout the area. Everyone was silent as they saw this horrible sight.

Mika held Yu much closer to him in a protective way. Yu didn't mind being close to Mika. Yoichi spotted something far away. He squinted his eyes and gasped."Guys! I found him! He's injured!" Yoichi yelled out as he pointed over to where Shinya was lying on the ground bleeding. Everyone ran over to him."Shinya!" Shinoa yelled out and bent down on the ground."..Sh-Shinoa.." He coughed up a little blood. He had a severe wound on his stomach and a few cuts on his arms. "Kimizuki! Help me carry him!" Kimizuki nodded and just picked him up himself."I got him Shinoa..we should see if there are any other survivors." Shinoa nodded."Okay..lets spread out in groups and look for any other survivors.. Once we do that will head to another hideout and treat the wounded." Shinoa said as she went over to Mitsuba."For now Kimizuki stay with Shinya and Yoichi." Kimizuki nodded."Roger that."

"Me and Mika will look on the north side. You and Mitsuba go look on the south side." Yu said as he already started to walk away. Shinoa nodded and walked with Mitsuba searching for any remaining survivors. Mika followed Yu and helped look around for any survivors as well. In all they were able to find four survivors. They quickly gave Shinya and the remaining four soilders treatment."So..lieutenant Shinya..what happened?..also what happened to Gurren?.." Shinoa asked as she sat down. Shinya looked at her and tightened his fist squiting his eyes."...One of the vampire nobles took him captive..most of the soilders were wiped out.."

Everyone was silent at those words. Yu tightened his fists."....Who was this guy?...who was it that took Guren?.. " Shinya looks at Yu."...It was..Crowley..." Shinoa's eyes widened."..the vampire we fought last time.." She places her hand on her neck as she remembered when he sucked her blood."I'll get Gurren back from that blood sucker!" Yu shouted as he furrowed his eye brows. Shinya grunted as he tries to sit up."No don't go in all alone..you'll need reinforcements.. " Mika intervened."I can help I know where to go and how to find your comrade." Shinya looks at Mika and realized he was in a vampire uniform."Your a vampire..." Yu interrupts. "He's trust worthy! He's on our side!" Shinya grabbed his gun and pointed it at Mika."how can I know that for sure?..." Yu draws his sword and stands in front of Mika."I won't let you hurt him...just trust him please!"
