Chapter 12

I got up this morning and texted Myles to ask when his flight was supposed to land.
Hannah- good morning! When is your flight scheduled to land?
Myles- good morning to you too beautiful, and around 2:30.
Hannah- okay see you then😃
I walked downstairs and poured myself a bowl of cereal. Lucky charms are so good. After I ate, I cleaned up the house a bit because Myles was planning on staying here for a few days. I did the dishes and laundry then swept the floor. I looked in the cabinets for food and realized I didn't have any. I needed to go to the store for food. I threw my hair in a bun, put a bra on and changed into shorts. I left for the store.
I was here to get some things for dinner and snacks. I know what Myles' favorite foods are so I grabbed them. I finished up at the store and headed back home.
It was about 11:30 a.m. when I got back home. I put the grocerys away and texted Paige to ask when she was leaving for the airport.
Hannah- Hey, wondering when you're leaving for the airport.
Paige- around 1:45.
Hannah- okay!
I was going to leave around 2 maybe 2:15 because flights are always delayed most of the time. I was getting hungry so I grabbed a bagel and put some cream cheese on it. My phone rang and it was Myles.
*half hour later*
I love long phone calls. He told me that they were driving to the airport. He said that he got me a present but he was stubborn and wouldn't tell me what it was. I have no idea what it could be. I was still really tired so I was going to take a nap😂
*hour later*
It's now 1:30 and I started to get ready. I put a different t-shirt on and left my hair in a bun. I washed my face and applied some mascara to my eyelashes and sprayed some perfume on my clothes.
I picked up the house a bit because it got dirty already😁 I was getting bored so I left a few minutes early. I pulled up into the parking lot of the airport and I saw Paige waiting. I parked the car and walked up to her.
Hannah- Hey!
Paige- Oh hey!
We walked into the airport and walked to the baggage claim where we would meet them. We talked for a bit and then we heard an announcement that their plane had landed. We waited a few minutes and saw people start to come out. I saw Jake first and then Kalin. Soon after Myles came out. I ran up to him and hugged him. We hugged for what seemed like forever. We waited until their bags came then left. Me and Myles were walking to the car.
Hannah- How was San Diego?
Myles- Great, we got a lot of work done.
Hannah- That's great!
I helped him put his bags in the trunk.
Hannah- I got your favorite foods for this week.
Myles- oh man.
I could already tell that this week was going to be good.
